Question about Game Stop display stands

I just recently put my name/phone number on a NBA 2k13 display stand at Game Stop and have a couple questions. Do I have to call them or will they call me, and how long do they hold it for? This is my first time getting a display stand so I'm super excited.
 
YMMV. Might call you, might not. Depends when our marketing tells us to get rid of it.

Usually promo standees are to be taken down day of release.
 
Ages ago when I worked at EB I let naive people put their name on the back of the standees just to shut them up but in the end we did whatever the fuck we wanted to when done with them.
 
The stores are supposed to destroy them, so it could unfortunately be what Nogib said.

Show up on release day and see what they say.
 
I have one for mass effect 3 and it's quite nice. just call and remind them that you asked for it around the day they expect to take it down.
