Ah, mine was adjusted as it's not in the shipping phase yet. One of the few "perks" of not having Prime I suppose lol.

Mine wasn't adjusted until I emailed them about it. I should be getting the $2 credit in a few days.

Got $2 back... shouldn't I get $7?
Or I guess they charged me at shipping $5 less... I guess that makes sense. I was afraid they started counting the coupon.

It was released at 34.99 when the coupon was live and dropped to 29.99 right before shipment.

If you had prime with RDD, it shipped before the drop to 27.99 and you'd be due a $2 refund for that difference.

I had to read it over twice on my end to make sure I was reading it right.

No, it doesn't. Any refund email will never mention the coupon because it's the pre-coupon price that is the one they're offering the guarantee on.

You paid $29.99, $8 off for the coupon, $21.99 paid via credit card/gift card/etc. Price dropped to $27.99, so you're due $2.

Depending on the amount of the credit you have on your account, you might have to do multiple items, though yes, this is how you do it.


I know this is old, but you can avoid promotional / gift card balances by unchecking a box on the payment screen. You never see this screen if you've purchased a bunch and have it set up for one-click.

Price adjustments for released items usually happen on Wed/Thursday of the week (generally 2 business days after the item is released). They will do it automatically, but it doesn't hurt to monitor it.

I got mine Thursday morning because I didn't pay for it until Tuesday morning (I had an expired credit card on file). Because of this, it actually was only $19.99. If it shipped on time, it would have been $22.99 or whatever and I'd be getting the refund later.

Mine shows $19.99 as the price paid, just wish they'd ship the damn thing.
