1tb external harddrives

does anyone know the ballpark that these are on black friday or if there usually are deals on them? i'm tempted to get one from newegg since they constantly have deals on them. currently there is a 1tb one on sale for 80 and i was wondering if i should jump on it now. thanks

Best Buy was selling 1TB 3.0 WD My Books for $50 earlier this year, a clearance half-off the regular price of $100. WD is one of the best brands out there; I must've dropped my 640GB WD from 2007 about ten times since I've owned it, and only one of those times did I lose data (the sector fixed itself and you can't even tell that it happened now). The $50-80 range is what you're looking at for externals between 1-2TB during BF. Target and Staples had 2TB HDDs available in 2010 for $69 apiece, and needless to say, size matters. I know there will be plenty of better hard drive deals than what you're talking about, so you should wait.
