Was at gamestop earlier and noticed Damage Inc Collectors edition (the one with flightstick etc) was marked $39.99. Didnt see this posted anywhere else so figure others might be interested

thought it was nice seeing as it was 100 when it came out, online price shows 79.99 but can confirm 100% this was $39.99 today in store.

Not bad

I picked this up a few days ago just for the flight stick. They let me trade in the game on the purchase, so that was another $5 off.

Microsoft Store has the standard edition for $9.99 with free shipping right now if you can get their site to work. But that flightstick does look nice.

I saw the flight stick version and it looked tiny. The box itself isnt very big so stayed away from it fearing it was cheap. Maybe ill have to go back.

The stick itself is pretty good quality, and decent sized. It's just disassembled in the box, have to screw the stick on to the base. The game is pure ass though.

The flight stick is an updated version of the Saitek AV8R-02 (Aviator). If you're just looking for a stick, you might be able to find one of those online. There aren't a whole lot of sticks to choose from for the Xbox and the others are more expensive than this deal.

When I picked up the Xbox version, they also had a PS3 collectors box for the same price.

It won't help you, but the Xbox game-only is on sale in the Microsoft Store for $10.

The Damage Inc. game itself doesn't have the greatest reviews. If you're looking for a good WWII flight sim, pick up "Birds of Steel" which is $15 (Xbox) on Amazon. (PS3 version is $40.) Birds of Steel improves on the tradition of IL-2 Birds of Prey and offers a lot of good detail and sim options.

Might swing by my local Gamestop and see if they have this. Thanks for the heads up OP!

My 2 local gamestops have one of these each. i last saw them at $79.99. Glad they are dropping. $40 might still be too much for me though.

I actually enjoyed the demo. I do have Birds of Steel as well as Birds of Prey. Awesome games. I don't understand why xbox games are always cheaper than ps3 games. I know that is microsoft's store but you see it at major retailers as well.

does anyone know if the vanilla version rings up as $40 as well?

GameStop online shows the game-only at $40 new and $19 used for both platforms. You could call your local store to confirm.
