The Adventure Time Collector's Edition has gone OOS at Amazon, Gamestop, and Walmart, and the eBay/Amazon seller prices have climbed to $60~70 range, but it's currently in stock and available at OfficeMax. For Cyber Monday, OfficeMax is offering free shipping, but you still pay sales tax.

Looks like eBay prices are around $60 BINs. Not really a huge jump. After fees and shipping, the seller is hardly making a profit. Don't buy if you want to resell.
 
Yeah...other than the picture, even the title only seems to reflect the standard version. Have you ordered from them, OP?

Agreed. I thought it was worth posting for those who actually want to own the Collector's Edition but don't want to pay $15-25 extra on eBay/Amazon marketplace.

I placed an order for one today, and I assumed it's the Collector's Edition based on the stock photo and price (MSRP for the standard edition is $29.99). I will email customer service to confirm just in case.
 
Is this really hard to find?

I want the collector's edition so bad and it shows it's in stock at several LA game stops.

I really really want the lanyard though, maybe some gamestops have leftovers.
 
The manufacturer's item number seems to correspond to the Collector's Edition on other sites. It looks legit and I ordered it. I've been looking all over for it so thanks.

I can confirm this as well; however, I emailed customer service just to be sure. I'll post my findings as soon as I get a response!
 
I wonder why it's hard to find, maybe they only had a first print run. Either way I actually picked this up at GS today for my daughter.

I was informed today that my order was cancelled due to lack of stock, but that they would give me a $5 gift card to make up for it. I'm glad I drove to a GameStop half an hour away to pick up a copy a few days ago just in case because I'd be SOL again. Stupid OfficeMax.
 
Just got a cancellation email from them: "Adventure Time: Hey Ice King (#23745011) was displayed on the OfficeMax.com website and inventory has been depleted. Because we could no longer source this item, all orders related to this item have been canceled. This includes your order noted above."

They did say they will send out a $5 gift card, so I'm happy overall.

did anyone's order actually go through?

i hate officemax so much, they use a third party vendor for video games and they ALWAYS cancel, it's HORRIBLE.

Sigh.. Screw you Office Max. Ah well, didn't expect this to go through anyway. The store sucks for everything else, why not have them screw up games. I cant find a CE copy of the DS version anywhere now =( I have one sealed still but i want one to open and play

Where part of CA do you live in?
 
If you're still looking for this try your local Gamestop. I was able to find a few stores in my area that had it in stock.

My daughter was thrilled when our copy arrived from Amazon. I finished it in just under three hours, but it's still worth it for how much she is enjoying it. I'm thinking about selling the CE contents though.

none around here have any. There was a single copy on hold that i was gonna get if they didn't pick it up this week, but i guess they grabbed it today, so im just SOL
