...because we all know gohastings will mail these in polybags with no padding

Not at all, but it comes with 2 character codes you have to buy anyway for Ultimate, so you're getting a nice steelbook and packaging and a little artbook for the price of just the dlc, which is (or was) a pretty fair deal.
