Free $10 gift card with any game guide at TRU. SAT only

If you look at the website for some guides (there's not a lot), it also says free game with purchase. Is the free game another kind of promo? Also, will this free game and free 10 GC stack?

Can't find any guides at TRU online for price compare. Does TRU jack up their guide prices like they do for lots of other things? My son would probably enjoy BLOPS2 guide cause he's getting game for xmas but I don't want to spend a lot.

TRU charges MSRP on the guides. Just look on the back just above the barcode.

He's only 9. I held out as long as I could but he's the only one in the neighborhood that doesn't own it and I'm tired of hearing about it. He's at a friend's house right now and I'm sure he's playing it. Anyway for all of these kids it is their first FPS. Last night he was explaining to me how zombies works even though I've had BLOPS since it came out. Common sense for adults and older teens is new and exciting to kids when they can see top down maps for 1st time, color images, etc.. But I appreciate the opinion and personally agree if I was buying it for myself.

The Black Ops 2 guide isn't bad. Patches will make the multiplayer stuff irrelevant, but if you like guides and are interested in having something physical to read it's fine. Especially for a kid.
there are old madden 10 pennied guides at my toys r us. wohld it work for those ?
Nope. I scanned a couple pennied and clearanced guides, and none of them showed the promo. Seems the gift card only works on regularly priced guides.
