Sign-up for a new VUDU account and link it to your Ultraviolet account at http://www.vudu.com/free_movies_promotion.html and you will get 10 free movies. Movies are only in SD quality though.

Rudy
Away From Her
Valentine's Day
Soul Survivor
Psycho
The Producers
So I Married An Axe Murder
Ghost
Paranormal Activity

If you already have an account you can still get the free movies.

Unlink your Vudu account from UltraViolet.
Logout of Vudu.
Create new Vudu account (using OP's link) and link it to your existing UltraViolet Account.
10-movies will be added to your UV account.
Now unlink your new Vudu Account and your UV account.
Logout of Vudu.
Log back into Vudu with your original account and re-link UV.
The 10 free movies should now be added to the original account along with any previous movie's from Vudu (in addition to any free UV movies from http://www.flixster.com/ you may have gotten)

Also in case you don't know if for some reason you have multiple UV accounts you can merge them together into one from the UV account page (my.uvvu.com)

Would've been nice if they were HD. SD movies are pointless these days, especially when we're moving toward 4K resolutions, they need to get with the time. Thanks for the post anyways OP.

Not a question of the viability of their website. But I'm pretty sure your suggestion is a violation of the terms of service of this forum.
 
Thanks. Already had a few of those on my UV account, but it was worth the 4 minutes to get a copy of Big Trouble in Little China ready to stream in an emergency. Now I don't have to suffer the hell of no BTiLC.

I did this yesterday after seeing it on Blu-ray.com. Pretty decent movies that I heard of for free. Big Trouble in Little China is one of those movies I watch when it is seldom on tv but never felt the need to actually buy it.

If you sign-up for an account at flixster.com you can get a free movie.
 
Free Flixster movies are sd. You get a few for a couple reasons like signing up, picking 5 movies you want to see and downloading mobileversion. I also got some for sending sms referrals which I sent to fake numbers. I don't see that options anymore though but might be gone since I completed it. All my flixster movies are ass besides Space Jam.

My Flixtster link already HAD Lethal Weapon, but not those other 5...

Linked a SECOND time, and got those same 4 PLUS The Perfect Storm. My god, this is terribly coded.

Okay. I figured it out. It takes time to add them to your account. Do NOT instantly unlink after making the account. WAIT and refresh on UVVU.com until you have all 10.

Edit3:
Somehow I ended up with 3 copies of Lethal Weapon: Director's Cut. Add that with the Flixster version, and my account has 4 of the same movie. I'm going to email support to clean it up.
 
Thanks got all ten the first try. It's so slow though. At first I thought it was my iPad 2 then I went onto my laptop and it's still slow. Damn these digital copy movie sites, can there just be one universal one please hehe.
 
It worked. I don't think you have to do any unlinking. Apparently you can just create a new VUDU account and link it to your UV account. I had 2 VUDU's linked to it and like 5 Flixsters.
 
They changed the free movie selection.

They added Paranormal Activity and Ghost.

They removed Big Trouble in Little China and The Siege.

You can get the extra movies if you have an existing account. Just follow the directions in the first post.

The movies can also be played from CinemaNow or Flixster.

Just got in on this deal, thanks OP, better late than never. linked up my vudu and Ultraviolet and CinemaNow accounts (didn't know I could link to CinemaNow) and I now have 58 free movies in my CinemaNow library that I can watch on my PS3 anytime. Thanks!
 
Also, Psycho has changed on that list of 10 free movies. It was the original Anthony Perkins version that they were giving away, but now it's the remade Vince Vaughn version.

So if you got the 10 around New Years, and you get the 10 now, you'll have both versions. Just so everybody knows, and that list can be updated.

and some others I forget, you can do it like last time
Unlink UV from main account, make a new one with a fake email, link your UV, and then unlink and relink with your main account. You keep old movies and new ones.
They seem to change the 10 movie list up from time to time so we should keep an eye out. Thanks again OP
 
Just added it again, got So I Married An Axe Murderer, Soul Survivors and Away From Her with the previously mentioned Rudy, new Psycho and Knight's Tale.
 
Thanks for the update! I wish there was a way to remove the duplicate movies, though. Some of them are on my list 3 times now...
