HMV under threat - 25% off in Blue Cross sale?

Lots of news today about HMV going into administration and running a '25% off nearly everything' Blue Cross sale. Does anyone have any information about whether Games are included? And in any event, it's probably worth checking out if you happen to be near a store...

Sad news for HMV and their employees, but maybe some bargains to be had...

Shame. HMV has been as much a part of the high street as any other chain I care to think of. I imagine everything will be reduced in a bid to recover some money but they arent going under, just into Admin, so no free for all just yet.

Its been confirmed though that they are not honouring any gift cards atm so if anyone got one for Xmas your bang out of luck :(
 
I wonder if they'll end up closing down all their stores outside of the UK like GAME did when they went under regardless of whether they sell off all of their stock or not. It's sad news true, but I guess this is what happens with how competitive the online gaming retail business is in the UK.
