Become an English teacher.

With that said, GOOD LUCK LOL
Become an English teacher.

Very true, if you are an English teacher, they will forgive your horrible Japanese to some degree, kinda like we do with the girls at the Asian Health Spa.

If you're serious, consider becoming an English teacher through programs like JET. Limited terms and the chances of getting in are slim, but unless you're able to go the Cheapy D route and marry a citizen, it's one of your best options.

Japan is a tiny country with a huge national population, so they really don't want expats there long term unless they have a reason to be there.

It is extremely hard to get a Visa. Going to Japan to become a teacher has become even harder now as the demand is not that high anymore and with a lot more people wanting to teach English in Japan.

Japan doesn't really like other ethnicities to teach other subjects so if you are just some average joe trying to live in Japan for awhile, your best bet is to find a poor Japanese girl and marry her.
after you move, keep up on this site so you can export all that cool Japanese exclusive stuff.
I will for woman
What's the money rate is it 1$ =1,000 yen
You can google this you know. $1 is around ~88.36 yen. The payout rate differs where you go to. Transportation is really fast so look for a cheap area than somewhere close as you can get there fast with the high speed trains.

Also make sure to bring a good phone or camera with you. Taking panty shots are customary in Japan. And don't forget to say Kawaii at the beginning of every fucking sentence.

You need to shrink down to about 5 foot 5 inches or less, enjoy Asian food, and be cool with being shoulder to shoulder with people. Pretty much the only prerequisite...

Be prepared for a little culture shock. It still blows me away that they sell used girls panties in vending machines. Not cool Japan, not cool at all. #-o

BTW, watch out for the wasabi...unlike many places in the US that have the fake horse radish stuff, they got the real stuff there and its HOT, very hot. Makes our wasabi look like baby food.

I saw this on the web

Unless things have changed since the 90s, a local salary of ~Y250,000 per month and all kinds of personal and corporate sponsorship is required to get a proper work visa as an english teacher.

Your options:

1) Marriage

2) Japanese Language schools will sponsor you.

3) Go to Korea after 2+ months, then re-enter to get another 3 months. I did this in 1992 and was pulled aside, causing some amount of grief to me until the pried out of me that I had been working for a couple of months in-country while waiting on my proper visa application to be issued (after running this down they let me go).

4)make Japanese porn

Being a good speaker of the language, I'm interested in eventually working remotely from Japan too, so I'm hoping for better answers . . . I believe self-sponsorship is possible given sufficient capital and a personal guarantee by a Japanese national (you can also get this "personal" guarantee by Japanese companies providing this service to foreigners).

Buying them direct is the only way to go IMO. Or stealing them in a tentacle costume.

I'm pretty sure it has changed a bit. I think you should try to talk with someone already in a japanese program. I'm currently set to do a Korean program to teach english called the talk program for a year. Going to visit Japan a lot while I'm there.

In all seriousness I would not consider marriage depending on who you marry as there would be a good chance that you would live with her parents.

That would be a little awkward I think. Marry a Japanese chick and move in with her and her parents... Im tellin' ya, culture shock. It will be a lot of fun though to be out of your element in a different culture. More power to ya. Just to experience a different culture and lifestyle is reason enough. So many people have the mind-set that the way it is in the US is how "it" is and they dont even think to realize that there are different cultures out there whose lifestyles are different. It will be interesting and fun.

According to the hentai, that would actually increase your chance of a Mom-Daughter-a-trois so I fail to see the downside?

Only down-side is getting stabbed with a Samurai sword by the father. Wouldnt that dishonor the family? j/k

But in all seriousness, you will have a blast.

BTW, you will get to check out the awesome electronics/video game thrift stores. I cant recall the name off-hand. Its called "Hard-Off" or something I think is one of the best ones and DEFINITELY worth going to. In 1 word: Awesome. See the You Tube vids. Awesome.

Damn this place has been awesome the last two days!

First the dude who was fired with only $215 and now this guy! :applause:

Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds!

starmask isn't new. He's well known (but not in a good way).

There was a lowball where he added to people's bids because the wind was blowing hard outside, for example.

Don't you speak broken English or was that all a ploy to troll people? What are you going to do over there wash dishes? Don't listen to the guy who said to study hentai, I think your more qualified for taking bukkake!

Boom.

i live in Tokyo.
I think right now the supply and demand for english teachers are pretty much met.
Especially now that the Filipinos are coming in with their skype english classes.

How about finding a job with a US country that will send you to Japan?

But seriously, the easy way would be to find a Japanese girl and marry her.
You usually wont have to move in with the parents since it is customary to move in with the guy's family, not the girl.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... #-o Please say you submitted a sample of your modeling skills.

If you didn't, they won't even consider you!

If you did, you're in good shape.

Say... If you did submit some samplings from your modeling portfolio, do you mind sharing them here with us? :)

Japan keeps tight control on immigration and in 2009, despite generous overseas aid for refugees, granted political asylum to just 30 people. Japanese Minister Taro Aso described Japan as unique in being "one nation, one civilisation, one language, one culture and one race".

What a sick, hateful nation! Why do so many weaboos want to move there? Is it a case of wanting what you can't have?

Oh, he has quite a sampling right here! Just visit his profile!

I loved japan but your best bet is JET or becoming an ALT through a private company you just have to research the companies since some of them have gone under and screwed people. If you get lucky you can catch on with the DoD make connections and transfer to japan. You will need a sponsorship from a national or a corporation. If you have a huge amount of capital to invest in to the country probably around 400,000+ then there's no way to self sponser the visa. but good luck. I'm working on a bachelors degree right now so I can hope back on with the DoD for logistics again. I was stationed in Yokosuka, JP for 3+ yrs. I had more of a culture shock coming back to USA than I did being in JP for my first few months. been almost 2 yrs and still a culture shock for me here.

I can't believe this hasn't been said yet!

I think I'm turning Japanese. I think I'm turning Japanese! I really think so!
Now that song is stuck in your head too! You're welcome.

Shingle bells shingle bells..... Deck the warrs with Barrs of hory.

you could join the military and put okinawa/japan on yer dream sheet (you would get 4 years there), you could try working for a japanese company doing business here and then try to transfer, or save the life of a japanese person who is basically honor bound to you and whose family could sponsor you over there
