Ikaruga's made it out of Japan: https://play.google....runtime.gg_1638

A bit steep, but par for the course for Japanese Shooters on mobile platforms.

Id imagine this is almost impossible to play well on a phone. Its so hard i dont think the controls will support the speed and accuracy needed to play well.

Ikaruga was already released once before on the GameCube. It is considered a fairly rare title for the system, but it was a commercial release of the game outside of Japan. I have a copy of it on my shelf, and have played it several times on my GameCube.

I played this recently, and the graphics are amazing.
However I think the experience with vary greatly on the device you play it on.
I played it on a Nexus 7 tab, so it was good enough.
Of course a regular controller would make it better, but then I would play it on my xbox/ game cube.

Is this game from Cave? It seems lot like Dodonpachi...

It's from Treasure, makers of Radiant Silvergun, and a bunch of other cult classic 2D action games.
