Amazon removed it super quick and took the credit from everyone that hasn't used it yet, maybe it was meant to be an MP3 credit or something.

Add something over $5 to your cart and go to checkout. But apparently, they're revoking the credit too. Sucks that I missed this!

I had the $5 credit as I did a fake checkout to see if the promo showed and it did. When I added something else to the cart the credit was gone. I e-mailed them. Hopefully they give us something out of this.

Thats my thought process, although promotions like this for cars usually take place when the car comes out (usually late summer early fall)

Don't bother with chat, they blow for things like this. Send an email directly to Jeff Bezos and you'll get way better treatment: jeff@amazon.com

I'm not going to try anything this time because I didn't get in on the deal, but in the past whenever I've emailed 'him' it's been worked out very quickly.

There usually is a minimum true, but usually they don't ask you to watch a video to get the credit either (though they did give it without actually requiring the vid to be watched). In any event, it's all botched up from the looks of it.
