Can you use a debit card for amazon prime?

Right off the bat, can you use a debit card for amazon prime? The TOA says you can only use a credit card but I've done a bit of research here and there and I seen on various websites people posting that they use a debit card willy nilly. I'm asking because I don't want the s**t hitting the fan later down the road considering they don't want you use a debit for that particular service.>.>

I'm on the fence, if you can somehow use a debit then that's a no-brainer for me, getting stuff fast is a plus in my book and if you can't use a debit, well, I'm not going to cry over spill milk.:P Anybody use prime with a debit?

Yes. They'll just process transactions as "credit," which just means they won't post to your bank account instantly like debit transactions tend to.
