Who else is gonna play this? looks pretty sweet and its gonna be interesting with the SyFy tv series tie-in

I got invited to the beta awhile back. Game kinds sucks. It may get more interesting when the show comes along, but as of right now it's your standard cookie-cutter MMO, except instead of using swords, maces, etc... you use guns. Meh.

Yeah, it looks like shit. And with other F2P shooter MMOs around like Planetside 2 and Firefall, there doesn't seem to be a reason to play this game. At all.

if you stack the PC version against other PC MMOs, yes it's pretty cookie cutter. However I think they are banking on the console versions to be the big seller. Since there have been very few MMO type games on Xbox.

Have seen this game being talked about a bit and I'm kinda intrigued. If its more PvE than PvP I'd be a lot more inclined to play it with my friends as a coop filler. Kinda interested to see how it fits in with the SyFy show as well, although I havent seen that either and dont actually get the SyFy channel

What can the combat mechanics be compared to? I prefer games where I press the mouse or pull the trigger to fire a la Borderlands over the combat in a game like Secret World or Dragon Age where you press the button associated to a skill or move and then it executes the move? Sorry if that was a stupid way to put it but didnt know how to go about asking my question.
