Eh, I would be hard pressed to call the Ravens superior last year. And this is coming from a Ravens fan. They didn't actually start playing excellent football until the Indy game. They were essentially the football version of the 2011 St. Louis Cardinals.

And if one player from Denver knew how to cover a deep ball late in the game, the Broncos would have won.

I don't see why Schaub is taking so much heat this year. He's actually very above average compared to most other QBs in the league.

Because he folds like a house of cards against good teams.

Surprised they didn't try to stretch it out.

I do expect him to be signed somewhere shortly. Jacksonville, Cleveland, and Oakland are my Top 3.

Oddly enough I could see the Vikings making a move for Freeman.

New sig coming soon.

I don't see Cleveland being interested in paying a lot of money for Josh Freeman when they're winning on the cheap with Brian Hoyer unless they're surprisingly in love with him. If they want a new QB, they'll get one in next year's draft since it'll be cheap and easily expendable if they don't work out. It's interesting how much the changes to draft salaries has changed how teams handle their rookies now, as they don't mind throwing them out to the wolves earlier than teams would've done so even four or five years ago.

It's a shame the Buffalo game isn't happening during snow season so we could get another great snow bowl.

I feel bad for schaub after that taint. As awful as that pick 6 was, he definitely got too much heat from fans for a week 4 regular season game.

That was the worst goal line series I've ever seen, but it finally resulted in a TD after 50 plays in the last ten yards.

Also, Travis Benjamin finally breaks it for a TD punt return!

Both starting quarterbacks are out of the game with knee injuries, Browns RB Chris Ogbonnaya is out with a head injury, and Browns DE Desmond Bryant has been taken to the hospital with shortness of breath, so to say this game isn't kind to either team is an understatement.

A perfect example of not only more Thursday games, but 18 games as well, right?

TJ Ward gets the pick six to seal the win!

The new rumor about an 18 game season only lets players play a max of 16 games, which is an intriguing way to get around that problem. The only issue I have is that it sort of ruins the whole "X has played every snap of his career" streaks that healthy players are proud to keep going.

They suck so much that they can win with either QB.

The only good thing that trade did for them is light a fire under their asses to prove the haters wrong. The first round pick is nice, but that doesn't help them right now. The running game is as bad, if not worse, than it was before.

Cleveland's run blocking is really bad. Trent Richardson will probably be a productive RB for a few years, but he's not a world-beater when it comes to lateral agility, acceleration, or breakaway speed. With a bad run-blocking OL, someone like McGahee won't be appreciably worse than Richardson.

It's not about week 4. It's the rising anger from a fan base that thinks the only thing standing between the Texans and many rings is Schaub and Kubiak.

Yea is does. So if some team is fighting for their playoff lives, but their starting qb has played 16 games they are screwed? The NFL is getting out of hand

They'd basically have to expand the roster if they did something like that. Probably to something like 65-72 players, which is insane.  If they went with 18 games, they'd also have to adopt 2 bye weeks.

You can get by without a good running game, but having one is a big advantage to help get control of the clock and tire out the defense.

You'd presumably rest starters against teams like Jacksonville and they'd have a better chance to win in those instances.
