$19.99 The Avengers Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack Exclusive set includes 3D version of the movie, character guide, and lithograph card. In store only.

Wait wasn't this the set that Best Buy was still selling for $70 since the movie came out to Blu Ray?

Damn and I was just at a BB earlier today - I saw a pile of those on the sales floor, looks like I'll have to come back and pick one up. Thanks OP!

LOL...this is why company's need to either stop making this shit and selling it so high or best buy needs to stop carrying stuff that no one buys. People are smart these days. No one was going to shell out that much money for so little items. Does the 3d version have any thing that the standard 2d release doesn't?

3d...??? :)

Wow great deal if you haven't bought the movie yet. Got the 3d version before so ill have to pass. Bestbuy will probably do the SAme with the amazing Spider-Man soon. My local store still has tons of the ones with the figurines at full price! Hehe

Picked one of these up today. Rang up 19.99. The employee that price checked it for me was shocked. When he rang me out he had his buddy come over for a "you have to see this." They had four left (Findlay OH store). Well, maybe. The two employees vowed to buy one "after their shift."

The SideshowCollectibles gift card is still valid. It expires 09/25/13. But it's only for certain items. It's more of a promo code than actual gift card (which makes it pretty much useless to me: it looks nice though).

I already have the 4-disc 3D version of this, but I couldn't pass up the same blu-ray and all those extras for only $19.99. I just locked in a trade-in to amazon for $10.05, too.

Just got back from the local BB, they had 2 that I could find, and I saw another customer getting a price check as I was going up to the register.

Perfect price! Thanks Coops!

[quote name='raarar']Thanks for the heads up OP. Just ran and grabbed one from the store by my house.

I'm never going to use this sideshow card, basically because of the high prices on the eligible items, if anyone wants my code:

thanks for the code

I saw a whole shelf of these at best buy when I went to pick up other clearance items this morning and bought one. Seems like a good price especially since Avengers hasn't been out that long.

[quote name='Saix_XIII']Here is the SKU, that way you can call the store to ask about stock and put one on hold if interested.

Thank you so much, I called my best buy and they still had some so I had them hold one for me, went up there and picked one up for my brother also since they still had a few left. Wonder why they took them off there website if there stores still have some in stock?

[quote name='ragingst0rm6']Damn, every nearby store is either sold out or "on hold"....[/QUOTE]

Yeah, I saw some fat troll looking kid taking 7 of them when I picking up a few games I had for store pick up, kind of sucks for the people who wanted them.

Just placed an order over the phone for the last one at a store near me. Same store I ordered my two guides from.

The big hang-up for me was I got the standard 4-disc 3D set from Amazon for $20 when the set came out. So I couldn't justify buying this set until I could sell the other one.

Friend of mine agreed to buy mine for $20, so happy I am basically getting the new set for the cost of shipping and tax basically.

Thanks OP.

probably someone from sd, bragging about buying a "few" to flip, so he can get his for "free". LOL

I hit up 2 Best Buys today and I found this at the second store. They had 6 left and the shrinkwrap was ripped on all of them. I found one in really good condition but you can tell that they've been moved around a lot. The price on this set at $19.99 is too good of a deal to pass. Thanks OP!

I am still bummed that the fan concept for the collection package of the Helicarrier never was made :( That would have been awesome to display.

No there is no way to check this deal without calling the store. It is not listed online at all. Best you can do is call the store, give them the SKU and if they don't have any ask them to check other stores near you and if they are too far for you to travel as them to do a store transfer for you.

Alright thanks man. After seeing that god damn youtube unboxing video, I must have this.

The BBY I visited had plenty of these on multiple shelves, though most of them had nicks and/or tears in the packaging here and there. I picked up what I think is one of the untouched ones, and it's a pretty sweet deal for $19.99.

Now I just have to get rid of the still-shrinkwrapped 3D 4-disc set I bought at BBY for $19.99 when it came out (PMed Target)...

The standard 3d bluray is on sale for $38. This set also comes with a hardcover book, light-up lenticular case, and lithograph (not even counting $30 GC since it's worthless to most). $70 MSRP for this actually does not seem overpriced when the regular 3d bluray is listed at $50 MSRP. I wouldn't buy it at $70, but at $20 a no brainer.

Damn work kept me from getting there today and I'm gonna guess they are all sold out. If any other kind CAG doesn't want the sideshow code, I could give it a good home.

[quote name='jiggyteddy']I don't get it. He was never an avenger.[/QUOTE]

Looking at some of the reviews it just baffles me. The description of the item flat-out says "Avengers Assemble! From Abomination to Wolverine, find out everything about your favorite Marvel Avengers super heroes and villains. This chunky, info-packed guide takes you alphabetically through the Avengers universe, shedding new light on characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Thor, and Captain America, giving you more detail about their powers, weaknesses, enemies, and origins than any other book on the market."

It says many times over it's for The Avengers universe, nothing else is covered, if they were in The Avengers at the time of publishing (2010) they should be in this book. One person complaining how Hawkeye's fighting ability is on par with Captain America being complete BS....wow. Does that person know the difference between ABILITY and POWER. Hawkeye is a master at hand-to-hand combat. Is he as strong as Captain America, of course not, but his ability to fight is up there.

Complainers love to complain I suppose.

He's part of the New Avengers with Spider-man, Wolverine, and others.
