You know, about a year ago, somebody posted a thread about some great deal on steam (I can't even remember what it was) and I polity pointed out to the gentlemen that there was a steam thread that usually handles all the steam based sales. The next few pages were mostly filled with people reaming me out over that post. I was treated to a slew of not-so-polite posts pointing out that some deals were good enough to merit their own threads.

In retrospect, while I wish they were a little bit less nasty to me, they were right. There are some deals that merit their own threads.

So thanks OP. I've sworn off new purchases until I work through some of my backlog. But that's a pretty good deal.
 
Well you and I are waiting for it to hit $5 (or appear in the Absolutely Great Square Pack Pt 2). But for a reasonably well received game that came out 4 months ago, it's not too bad. Most people are gonna be all over this.

I guess... but after they put this on sale for 60% off not even a month after release it was a pretty good tip-off the game sold poorly and would be going on sale a lot with the price sinking constantly.

Pretty much this. If it was Tomb Raider or BSI I would think you might have a valid point. It's also not like this isn't the first thing you see when you load Steam. It's not some hidden deal you would dig for or a gem that might need some word of mouth to expose it. Anyways to each his own.

Also it's not like I was an asshole either.
 
I'm happy it was made its own thread.Tempted to get it, am surprised by all the big price drops for this game, just came out like 3-4 months ago and can find it so cheap at times.Not sure if I'll bite with the already huge backlog I have.

Well that thread is a cluster of off-topic BS, so I don't doubt you couldn't find it. But apparently we should all weed through the crap in there to find deals. Let's just have one massive thread with all deals in it, and we can all sort through it to find what we're looking for! :roll:
