Nimble Quest is a great iOS game. Picture Snake with a line of wizards and warriors instead of a serpent's coils. And it's free! Here's a link: https://itunes.apple...d583638819?mt=8
Anyway, it has an Arena mode where you basically play to boost your clan's score. Figuring there was a CAG clan (I like the one we have in 1000 Heroz), I entered CAG as my clan and played a decent run. Now hours later, nobody else has registered a score.
It may be because they're busy playing the normal game; I understand that. But for those who get this game, join the CAG clan and maybe we can work our way up the leaderboards.

I just started playing. Tried the Arena once. Only made it to 77. Still trying to get a feel for the game and who I use as lead. Seems like a lot of luck is needed too. I used CAG as the guild name, but it looks like I'm the only one.

I'm in it too, jedi_dad, but I only play Arena once in a while -- mostly because it costs coins to play, unlike normal games.
Each character requires a different strategy. Usually the melee people have more health and the ranged ones are more vulnerable. However, I've been able to rack up normal-game scores of 250+ for just about everyone I have unlocked. But my leader is still the very first guy, Ulrich, with 372.
I definitely recommend trying everyone, then working with the ones you're doing best with to level-up. Though I've only leveled up 7 people to 1 star. Seems like it'll be a long haul to get a 2-star character.

Did you happen to purchase the red gem IAP? I was wondering if it's truly worth it. It's going to take so long to level up at this rate. I can't get past level 13 now. I have one hero on level 2. The rest are on level 1.

I didn't, but a friend did. He said it was $5? I want to support this game, but that's a bit much. Though I have played well over 5 hours...
I have almost everyone on level 2. I got the gray-haired lady character most recently. My high score is something like 627.
All my items are maxed out, but the real draw of gems is to pay to level-up characters. I think getting anyone to 3 stars is going to take considerable time or gems. If I cared, I'd probably get the red gem sooner than later, but I don't think I will care.

So I went and bought the red gem unlock before the game went to $.99. I don't like paying to level up, but they updated the game where all the gems at the end of a level are earned. I really like that idea and feel it was worth it. I also looked at it as such; I'm enjoying the game and have been playing it a lot. There's another update and they lowered the coin necessary to reach level 3 to 40,000 instead of 100,000. I was able to level 3 four heroes in a couple of days. So yeah, I've been hooked playing this game. It's fun. I wish more CAG's would play.

I'm really glad they changed the pricing for level-ups, as well as the insta-magnet on final gems. Then they also changed up Arena where the rewards are much greater, and the setups are more specific.
I also bought the IAP. It's the least I can do for those guys; it really is a great game.
