Bought the 3 DLCs during the sale earlier this month for 1800 points. Got the game for like $23 on eBay. #_#; How much is 1800 Microsoft points in dollars again?

About $22.50

Tempted on getting both Dragonborn and Dawnguard, just not sure if I'd ever get the chance to ever play through them.
Dragonborn is soo tempting. Someone please talk me out!
Forget that 'talk me out of it' nonsense, Dragonborn is pretty damn good.
It's going to add a ton of gameplay.

Closest thing Skyrim got to an expansion pack in in terms of amount of content and seems most agree it was the strongest DLC of the bunch.

Oh, you wanted to be talked out of it? Well...if you can hold out till the summer, I'd imagine GMG or the Steam Summer Sale might have it down to $5 then. Otherwise seems like a pretty solid deal if you're yearning for some more Skyrim.

Dragonborn is really good. I highly reccomend it. It's a whole new island to explore and a quest line. I spent around 10-12 hours playing it.

Dawnguard is good but not worth the $20 I originally spent on it.

The only other mildly interesting deal in te GameStop PCDD sale is Fallout NV Ultimate for $10. Everything else is horribly priced.
are these deals redeemable on steam?
They have to be. They are both steamworks games.

I got the DLC for the PS3 version when they finally released them at discounted prices (the same prices apparently they are on sale at Gamestop for).

I also hope this means that a GotY edition is in the cards for the not too distant future (next Sunday A.D.) I'd probably get it on PC just to see what it would look like vs the PS3 version!

Worth noting that Gamestop's MSRP for Skyrim is high at 60 bucks, it's hit 40 most other places by now, so you're not really saving much in this sale on the game itself. Decent deals on the DLC though.

I believe they actually officially dropped the MSRP to $40 a little while ago.

Figures. I was actually going to give gamestop money for the first time in years, and their pc download section is down.

Been wanting Dragonborn for 50%-ish off for a long while, so I'll bite. Thanks OP.

Now to install their crappy app just so that I can get my serial code to redeem in Steam... the things I do to get a deal.

I've been looking at picking up 'complete' versions of Fallout 3 and Fallout NV. Fallout 3's page says it requires Steam activation, but NV's page doesn't. Anyone know if it's a Steam key for New Vegas Ultimate?

I wouldn't be surprised to see this on sale on Steam as a midweek or daily. Usually when Gamestop has a decent deal everybody has the same deal within a week or two.

Just do what I did and buy Dragonborn and hold off on Dawnguard. This sure isn't the last time it'll go on sale and this'll give you an idea if you're ready to dive back into skyrim.
Im going to force my self to wait for the invertible steam summer sale..... Also I really don't want to install impulse again.
I have to install and uninstall each time I buy a game lol. Thankfully it's rare they have deals worth doing it for. I had $4 in credit so I picked up FNV UE for $6. Worth the install. Now to uninstall again.

Picked up all 3 on PC, got the keys from Impulse, and activated on Steam. Thanks OP! I hadn't planned on getting Hearthfire but hey for $2.50 why not?

Why not just install the client on a pc you don't care about?
Would love to finally get this game, but probably just going to wait for the GOTY edition to come out in June.
I have a feeling GOTY might be $60.
@OP thanks for the heads up on the deal!
Why not just install the client on a pc you don't care about?
I do on my work PC, but it's a work PC so I uninstall anything that isn't work related.
Is Dawnguard still 9.99? I can't find it.
Looks like Dawnguard was removed? It was there this morning. There are other sites that have the Skyrim DLCs on sale right now too.

Edit: and never mind it is back.

Bought Dragonborn but had to install the gamestop app to view my key. How incredibly stupid. Well at least Comcast's fast speeds let me finish the download for the DLC in 2 minutes.

Edit: Jesus my skyrim folder is big, 19.7 gigabytes and counting.

Hmm. Guess it's just me. Gamestop won't let me buy the DLC. It keeps cancelling my order and I tried earlier in the day. Other people posting that they bought it after I tried twice. Just tried again and they check authorization on my account and then cancel me. Not a problem with my bank either. Weird since I just bought Orange Box from them a few days ago when it was on sale without a problem. =(

Bought Dawnguard and Dragonborn a few weeks ago for $16 each from Gamefly thinking they wouldn't be any cheaper for a while. Oh well, I've played them enough since then to justify the $12. :D Might grab Hearthfire for $2.50 just to have all the DLC.

Well I bought dawnguard... installed that stupid app and the "My Games" page jsut sits there, blank... and I can't find anyway to access my order or anything, all I have is my paypal reciept... wtf gamestop? Is there another way to get my code?
What a terrible place to buy from. I have to wait up to 24 hours to get my Steam code? wtf
At least you were able to buy it. I've tried every type of payment they allow, include Paypal and AMEX and none of the charges are going through. :headache:

I ordered day one of the sale and got my order cancelled on paypal and my credit card. Never had an online purchase ever rejected by my credit card so I suspect they must have some kind of issue with their payments.

Make sure you have .net 4 framework and associated updates. Ran into this issue also because i installed it in a Windows XP virtual machine. Just was spitting ugly errors and blank pages, but resolved once the .net 4 was installed and updated. i got my code and shutdown the VM that i use for crap just like this.

I wouldnt have bought dragonborn from GS, but i had 5$ credit from the GS credit recovery system... So 5$ is all it cost me as far as im concerned.

Make sure your addresses match up perfectly between shipping, billing and what your credit card has on file. I had a similar problem with BestBuy.com a couple weeks ago. If their transaction process is savvy enough, it might even come up with a prompt asking if you'd rather use "this" address over what you've put in, always go for what they pick even if it doesn't look a single-bit different.

On another note, five days later and the OP still hasn't bothered to click 'Go Advanced' to update the title to include PCDD so I can stop bellyaching that the sale doesn't include consoles every time I see this thread pop-up? Tsk tsk. ;)

Can someone link me to the site? My bookmarks got deleted and I'm sure that I have unclaimed preorders. Thanks!

Yup, and that's one "business day". Weekends don't count. :(
