(DEAD) Xenoblade Chronicles $59.99 Pre-Owned @ Gamestop.com
Just bought their entire stock. Thanks.
Well, I hope you plan on playing one of those.

It was more of a joke at how I assumed they had one in stock.

It annoys me when people buy out their stock just to flip it. Some people want to play the game. :/

(Currently a launch-Xenoblade owner w/ artbook preorder bonus. I wasn't going to buy it at $159.99!!!)

Then again, there could have been a total of 1 copy.

I bought a copy and sold it with the art book all sealed for $40 right after launch because I changed my mine... I've been punching myself in the face ever since.

Man, you must be pretty bloody by now, and it's amazing that you can type so well one-handed.

Those people can play the game by buying from the flipper

Bah still trying to find a used copy of this. I bought a new copy of this when GameStop had it in stores figuring it might be hard to find later. As often happens due to my backlog it has not yet been opened. Obviously not going to open it up to play now with it being so valuable. I have the exact same problem with Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and some other games.

If people really wanted to play the game they would have done so before the game went oop. Funny how everybody wants it now, glad I picked up my game on release day.

Whoops meant Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for Wii.

I thank you guys as I remember there was a post a few months back where somebody was explaining to trade in your used copy of Xenoblade at Gamestop as it trades in more than what it sells for used. Within minutes several people were saying how a used copy on Amazon/eBay sells for over a $100 and GS was ripping them off. I kind of gave up playing the Wii, but this made me determined to find a used (complete) copy at Gamestop. Within that first week at random hours of the day, there would be one or two that would be in stock within 25 miles of my location. However, none were complete and then one day someone actually traded one around my house in pristine condition and my friend that worked at GS told me about it. I am so glad I heard about the rarity of this game here as I love the game.

Glad I bought this on a whim early last year. I would be super salty if I didn't get it just based on how good the music is + how expensive it is now.

ahh i see. yeah thats one i should have kept.

I wanted to play the game and missed the launch (I had my attention focused elsewhere), so I forked over $80 for a copy. No regrets. If someone wants to play it badly enough, they'll fork out the cash, CAG or not.
I have a factory sealed Xenoblade for trade if anyone is interested..
I am interested in an opened one because I would like to play it.

I wish that I could have gotten one.

Was it limited or did a hoarder take most of them?

It was a Gamestop exclusive game, no other retailers nor Amazon got it.

Go for it!

WOW!

Is this Jeopardy? Should I ask a question for this answer now?

It was limited to the fact that only Gamestop and Nintendo were selling it, Gamestop had it for sale for about 9 months before it went OOP then everybody scrambled to get one when they were selling for $35 used and $50 new. You are seeing the aftermath of what this has caused, good luck trying to find one. I think this game will become a lot harder to find, the only reason there are so many copies for sale right now is because most of the people that bought them during the scramble a few months back was to resell.

lol... 889 sold listings since Feb on eBay, people are definitely capitalizing on this game.

Oh. I see what happened. I was asking if it was limited in the cart.

If it's unlimited, then a hoarder can take all the ones in stock to try to flip them.

The frustrating thing is a good chunk of those are probably resellers buying from resellers. So each sale they have to bring up their price to make a profit. ie reseller buys it for $60 so then they try to sell it for $75 and so on, constantly driving the cost up.

Dammit... I've been trying to get an NTSC copy for my collection for ages. Figures I miss it. Really wish I bought one when they had a bunch of new copies in stock late last year.:whistle2:/

On the plus side, this actually started to show up as "pickup in store" but they've all been pretty far away (1+ hour drive).

so can we move this to the graveyard before it becomes an all out battle b/n flippers and non-flippers? Because seriously, we've heard enough of those and honestly, no one cares. Flippers gonna flip, haters gonna hate. plain and simple

I'll trade it for a gutted copy of Too Human that comes with a rare vintage "NEW" sticker on the front that is in mint condition.
Are there any other games Gamestop has raised the used game price $10 over new game MSRP?
Metroid Prime Trilogy.

No inventory within 100 miles for me. I even input two far zip codes from where I actually live and where I'm staying now.

I got lucky and snagged a pristine complete copy for 35 bucks after $20 off used coupon and PUR back in March.

Was only the second time I've ever found a use for those shitty PUR points, but it pretty much compensates their uselesness overall.

Bought this game on launch at gamestop; never imagined it would actually get this rare. they should release a special edition of the new one on Wii U with a graphically updated port of this one. I would buy a Wii U just for that! For that matter, i feel like a 3ds version would be equally as amazing.

It looks great in dolphin upscaled with AF and AA.

If you want to play the game that bad you might better download it and play it in higher quality 1080p quality (assuming the your video card is up to snuff of course)

At this point buying it used or buying it from a price gouging flipper really isn't going to give Nintendo nor the people who made this game one red cent in support.

that's funny because a friend of mine canceled his preorder a month before release and ended up buying a new USA copy on ebay for under $50 (no artbook though) s few days before the game came out.

A few weeks ago I noticed a store listed it as "low stock". I checked the store around 1pm. The guy laughed when I asked saying there were several people that have asked before me and the guy that bought it was waiting outside before opening (8am).
$10 over MSRP for a Pre-Owned game.

Man, what, Gamestop?
Supply and demand. Have you seen what other people are charging for it on Ebay or Amazon?
