"The Last of Us" Day One: 24 Perfect Score Reviews

This is a video I made. I'm still trying to figure out how to embed on the newer CAG site, but I'll have link for it below. I talk about how "The Last of Us" on Day One of being out has 24 Perfect Score Reviews. What are you thoughts on this? Do you think it can beat the 39 perfect reviews Uncharted 2 had?!? Let the discussions brew!

CAGiversary!
It's a great looking game.  Part of me questions why they didn't make it a PS4 launch title, because this would be THE killer app.  However, I'm happy to have it now.

Yeah, I think since the PS3 has such a big install base, they decided to keep it a PS3 title. I think that the PS4 will get backwards compatibility at launch or there might even be a PS4 version of the game too. :)

I won't be surprised if they decide to release a sequel on the PS4.

Also uncharted 2 got 39 perfect scores? i actually played the game and i gotta say that's a bit over the top. it was good but not THAT good

Idk, Ive finished UC2, it was visual stunning, good story, action packed still to far from perfect? Doubting Naughty Dogs quality is out of question, tbh they sure know how to make good games but can imperfection creates perfection?

Someone on another forum made an excellent point about review scores. Basically, you should view scores as how much a reviewer is recommending the game and not how "perfect" it is.

I've been gaming since the 80's and all the games I would give a 10 to have some sort of flaw, whether their technical glitches or some bad design elements. But their some of my favorite games because their just straight up fun.

Btw, can't wait to get this game. Will be the first game I buy for full price upon release this year.

Check out Adam Sessler's Review on Rev3's YouTube Channel. He made the best review in my opinion. :)

Can't wait for this to hit $20!
One to Two Years.
I'm hoping in about a year. I mean we will definitely see $40 on this in about a month.
The pricing for this game will be like the Uncharted games, since it will do good in sales. It has like 400-500k preorders just in the U.S. alone. That's pretty good for a new ip. I don't think it will hit $40 in a month. If it does, then I really will have to rethink my strategy of buying games early/preordering.

I have only pre-ordered 3 games this console generation (Borderlands 1 & 2 and Mass Effect 3).  This game will be the 4th.  Can't wait to play it.

You didn't preorder Uncharted 2? That's crazy. I'm glad to see you are buying this game though.

Because they have 80 million PS3s sold. vS less then probably 5 million PS4s in the first 3 months of launch.

However, by the time the PS4 launches in Sept/Nov a good majority of sales would of occured for the PS3 version which would allow them then to announce an enhanced PS4 version. And the same thing would be nice for GTA 5 having a PS4 version released 3-4 months after the PS3 one.
