I was told that laser jet is the way to go because my other printers ink would dry up In weeks of not using it,
I found a dell c1660w wifi color LED 134.99 with free shipping from dell, I hope you guys can help.

Thanks Ashley

Do you really need a color printer?  A full set of toner cartridges is going to cost more than the printer itself, and the carts they are only rated for around 1000 pages.  Even generic cartridges for color lasers are still expensive.  If you print a lot of pages that is going to add up fast.

Color toner isn't that expensive... for the printer OP posted, it's $60 for each color. For 1000 page yeild, that comes out to 6 cents a page. Laser ink lasts a long time if you don't use it so even if it's not a priority, it won't be wasted. You will probably be ok with the color toner printer comes with for a few years, at the least.

To be honest, I don't print much in color but I regret not getting a color laser printer. When I do need something printed in color, I have to pay anywhere from $.30-$1 per page (depending on whether or not there's a sale for printing).

I ended up replacing a black and white laser printer and a color inkjet MFC with a single color laser MFC and it's been well worth the money.

Black and white laser printer are routinely $80 and under when they go on sale, if not cheaper.

Check SlickDeals or FatWallet for deals on them, as there's always some post somewhere about a cheap B&W laser printer.
