The Source clearance games (updated December 25)

Pokemon Black/White are $19.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart and Staples though.

Really? Thanks for mentioning that. I've missed a bunch of the DS Pokemon's and need Black/White. I'm gonna wander into some random Shoppers.

I know Staples had them, because they were on their website a while ago. And, they had them on clearance in store. Shoppers Drug Mart (Pharmaprix in Quebec) had some as well for $19.99 when I was looking around there just last week.

Well I just checked a local Shoppers, and White/Black were $35. I had them scanned and everything. Perhaps you saw French versions?

I donno if I'm going to bother much with Staples. Their deals are always YMMV, I never even seem to find stock of any games mentioned there, and when I do it's not at mentioned sale prices.

Actually, they were English versions. I'm guessing it's a YMMV thing. I'll go to one of them later on today and take a picture.

Umm, you have Paypal? If you're already going  I do need em ;) With paypal fees and shipping they'd probably cost me about what The Source would, but I wouldn't need to search for White.

Thanks for posting. I can never seem to navigate The Source's terrible site well enough to find these discounts.

Great price for Rocksmith even if it's just for the cable... but I never have any luck with the source... and yep online indicates it's all sold~

Wii point cards for 5 bucks would be a pretty good deal, especially if you have a Wii U and plan to upgrade games in the future for the discounted cost.

It's too bad the stores here are all sold out. I couldn't find a copy of Mario Sports Mix, either. Bah.

Isn't that a ridiculous good deal?? Seems like there's stock in Montreal too.
You can bet I'm getting one of those if my PS3 isn't fixed by the 4.45 update fix they promised for the 27th.
>buy product from sony
>sony breaks your product
>sony promises to fix it by a time
>sony breaks promise to fix it by that time
>vindictively purchase product from sony again
>that will show them

Obviously I'm going to take them up on the free servicing they offered if something bad happens. Don't be silly. It's just such a good deal that you wouldn't be crazy to consider it.

>2013
>doesn't get sarcasm
>implying

Burning hot for the DS3 kit, but no stock here. Congrates on anyone who manages to get one.

Buring agian for the Wii points, but most likely these are only the cards in the big bubbles that were cleaned out at $10 or $15 a while ago, so there will almost certainly be no stock.

PS3 is a good deal, AND there is stock. Kanata reports 4, so that shouldn't be phantom stock, so go go go, lol.

Hmm, $200 for a 320GB PS3 is not too bad, especially since mine has been acting up lately... although I think I might just wait until the PS4 comes out, since the PS3s will inevitably drop again then and by then it'll be the snazzy super-slim models at that price.

Do you think that the PS3's'll be around that price around PS4 launch? I'm considering getting one of these but I don't at all mind waiting.

I think PS3s will have to get a price cut around PS4 launch. It would be tough (but possible) for them to market a previous-gen console at $299 when a brand new one is launching at $399. Even if the PS3 price doesn't go down right at PS4 launch, it should at least gain enough headroom to dip to $199 during various sales. That's just one Yogurt's opinion, though. I don't mind waiting either.

Mother of god, 2000 Wii Points for $5? Need to head to my local Source later.

Nevermind, every single Source near me is sold out. Ugh.

Don't feel bad...I'm pretty sure these have been sold out everywhere for awhile. Most of them probably got bought up when they price dropped to $15. I felt extremely lucky to track ONE down for $10 and that was months ago.

I went into a store today (one that the website claimed had no stock) and found a pile of 9 Wii Points cards of the 2000 point denomination, but they scanned up at $20, not $5. :/ I guess I missed the boom?

Hm, that's weird, this happened to me when they were supposed to be $10, I was pretty pissed.

Those have a different sku, they're not the same 2000 point card. Every Source has piles of Nintendo points cards available.

Anyways, I bought one of these when they were $10. But I discovered that they only work on the Wii and DSi (they're an old discontinued sku), so I had no use for mine and it's just been laying around since. I suppose I'm willing to pass on the code at cost if anyone wants it. That'd be $11.20, and I'd want gifted Paypal with the Paypal fees covered, so maybe ~$12 for 2000 points.

Did you sell your Wii? If you didn't, you could just use it on the Wii, and transfer them over to your Wii U (if you own one).

That's strange. They increased the price on a few games overnight. I've never seen them do that with these clearance prices.
