I thought about buying four of these cards because it's a really good deal. I think I'm covered until 2015 or so with PlayStation Plus. I'll think about it for sure.

3 months for $8 works out to $32 for 12 months, if you bought this 4 times.

Good deal for 3 months, if you're going to spend $20 on the PSN store anyway (which I am).

so if you spend  40    you would have  8  still

so  be like buying

40  for the year

18 per card

might go to the store and see if i can use the coupon on top of it..

if not  o well

could get a better deal at meijers

1 year for 40

20 buck cards for 17 each...  68

total  108

total here  112

Everytime a PS Plus deal comes up, I grab it thinking it's too good to pass up, but then the deals keep getting better.  I already have about 4 years left on my subscription.  Maybe PS Plus is going to go the way of Xbox Live Gold and have perpetual deals of almost half off.  I kind of don't want that, though, since the cheaper it gets, the less incentive Sony has to deliver quality for what you pay.

Maybe it's because I just woke up.. but what's the deal with people saying that 1 Year for $40 is a better deal when 3 Months for $8 comes out to $32 a year? What am I missing with that kind of logic?

If you plan to spend the $80 in PSN credit, then go ahead. I personally wouldn't know what to do with that much credit. (Not to mention that you're playing full price for it too!)

But how often do we get good deals on PSN credit?  Unless you live in the Midwest, that is.

Yeah, I'm a little jealous of them. I did place an order for one though, since I can see myself spending $20. I made the mistake of stockpiling XBL points cards when they go on sale, but now I don't use my 360 anymore, so those points are stagnating. I don't want that to happen with PSN credit if I go nuts with it.

Also, it doesn't look like it's available for shipping anymore.

this is an amazing deal for anyone that is planning on getting a PS4 bc Im sure that credi will get used up at some point over the next 5 or so years

bc you have to soend $112 upfront to get that savings and not everyone has that or is willing to spend so much at once to save $8. It does end up being a better deal in the long run but its relative to a person's situation. Im only buying one of these instead of 4 bc of this.

I wonder if you could add the "save $5 and $10" coupon that BB has for the 3-month and 12-month cards at the register...

If no one has tried it by that time, I'll try it and report back later, as I have a doctors appointment right down the hill from my Best Buy store. If it does work, then it'd take it down to $22.99 out of pocket.

I just tried it online and it doesn't work automatically. I don't know if maybe these are packaged together in store with a seperate SKU/UPC or not. But if it's just the individual cards then the $5 off coupon SHOULD work. If not though, you could always ask them to do it as a missed coupon. The worst they could say is no.

Its only valid on these SKUs: 1252962 & 1253176. This bundle has a different one: 9999205600050003. It'll be YMMV

No dice on coupon and $27.99 price unless manager manually overrides the price. So YMMV. I even had them try and type in the bundle SKU to see if that would work with the $5 off coupon, but nope. Still $28 is too good to pass up.

This is a good point, and has kept me from jumping on this deal and the $40/year deal.  I've got over a year left on my subscription, and I'm assuming we'll see better deals in the future.
