Trouble with post and formatting

I recently posted a contest on the site and am having issues with the format of the posts. This post will probably be the same way. If I use black text I get a white box around all of my text. This is the first time that I've posted a new thread since the switch to CAG 3.0 and I don't ever recall having to switch any default settings to post anything before.

Can someone help me out with a quick fix?

Don't specify a text colour. There's a dark style and a light style, so it causes problems if you try to override the default text colour.

 
I think that there was something buggy going on with the site when I posted it. I posted with the default settings and the same thing kept happening. I reposted it later in the day and it worked fine.

Thank you for your help though.
