Borderlands 2 Diamond Plate Loot Chest back in stock at Thinkgeek for $99

How are they flooding the market? ThinkGeek is doing a second wave and the only other place that has sold them is the Gearhouse store by TreeHouse.

Three short waves is flooding the market? Or do you know something I don't about subsequent waves at other retailers?

Three short waves is a lot for something that is suppose to be limited then the fact that each consumer can buy 2, it seems they are printing, selling out, then printing more. They must have a lot on hand to allow people to buy 2 at a time.

 
These things really would've been awesome if the chest was twice it's size.  I had the UVHE that launched with the game and I eventually sold them chest and regretted getting everything except the game and the steelbook.

You're crazy. The loot chests (Diamond-Plate or Collector's Edition) are very cool. They would have been better if they had the fold out shelves like in the games, but it's still sick. It looks great next to my miniature Pandora's Box from GoW3

 
For all the haters who are just pissed because they can't afford it, let me say this - You missed out.

These things are very cool. Mine was waiting for me on my porch when I woke up, and was stoked to open it up. You guys are just pissed off because you don't have $100 of disposable money. Don't hate because some people who like these type of things do.

If you say so, but there are plenty of people who agree with me. I actually stuck with my original pre-order (which was $150 by the way, more expensive than this, so I can afford it) when everyone was dropping theirs after the video of what it actually was came out, but it definitely wasn't worth the extra $90 for it...or the extra $50 more than the Vault Hunter's Edition.

Just my opinion, it sucks at the size it's at. Would've been much cooler and actually worth the money if it were twice the size. I have plenty of disposable income since you want to be that guy that just assumes that's why people don't buy things. I bought a $500 playseat and $200 racing wheel just to play GTA5 a few years ago, so it's all good.

P.S. - It also sounds like you're trying really hard and really publicly to justify the purchase to yourself.

I don't see a single hater in here saying anything about not being able to afford it. I see one person wishing it was bigger, which is a valid complaint when you're talking about a thing that stores stuff.

 
For anyone who bought the chest the legendary items have 3 different shift codes that means that i can use the codes for ps3, xbox and pc? or do i have to pick one of the three?

Everybody has >>$100 of disposable money, it's about deciding what to buy with finite amount of funds.

I have 2xULCE (one sealed and one for display) and this, but no need to mock others for being poor, which isn't true anyways.

 
Still in stock, huh? Lol! I love when "eBay entrepreneurs" get screwed over. I wonder what they'll do with their 10 excess loot chests now. I mean, I can understand buying one to resell, but buying in bulk is a jackass move, and man is it funny when they get bit in the ass for it.

Back on release day for B2 I got blasted when at 4 am I had to wake for for my infants and refreshed the amazon page and saw they had a few. I got blasted because I bought two and offered one on THIS site FOR COST. Yeah, people complained because I bought one only for members here to get an extra chance at 4AM

Some real idiots running around here. Won't make that mistake again.

Bought one and was instantly disappointed. Having seen the ULCE in person I had made the assumption this would be the same size chest. Boy was I wrong. I read the dimensions right after it shipped and I knew I was in for failure. It's still cool looking and will make a nice display box but I was hoping I could use it to store my NES or SNES carts. I have well over a hundred carts for each platform so there isn't a snowball's chance in hell of that happening. I still like the chest but it is way overpriced at $100. At $50-$75 I would have not felt so bad about it.
