Vita 32gb Memory 70.67 dollars at amazon

I want that new 64GB one, but sheesh, if the 32GB still costs this much...  (Don't remember what I paid for my 32GB, but considering it's still this much now, I must have paid too much!)

Sony announced 64 gb cards for Japan for the equivalent of $100.

It'll probably be a similar price over here.

Better to wait to pay a little more for twice the space.

Sucks for people on 32GB cards who want to upgrade, since there's no apparent way to transfer your data to the 64GB card. Gah!

Really? Ouch.

I've held out on a vita because I got spoiled with how the psp handles microsd cards...

It's a shame, really. It looks like a wonderful handheld (though lacking in games), but it's gimped badly by these cards.

The vita tv, as decently priced as it is, is going to be limited like that too.

The PSP doesn't have to use memory sticks? Can you get a memory stick adapter thing that a micoSD fits into? That's damn genius, if so.

Don't get what Sony's deal is with proprietary memory. I guess they're trying to make money back that they lose on the hardware, but I have to think it severely limits hardware and game sales both. I want that 64GB card, but jeez, I don't want to pay $100. (Maybe they'll make a microSD adapter for Vita, too.)

That said, I love my Vita.  There are enough Vita games and quirky little other downloadable games, not to mention my vast PSN RPG backlog hoard, that I've got a lot of playtime on it.  (If I could ever tear myself away from my 3DS...  Not enough time in the day.  I miss when I was in college with no commitments (and thought I was busy...).)

So I ain't complaining, and I don't want my comments to keep anyone from buying.

Yeah, there are these memory stick adapters that take in microsds.

Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-MicroSD-MicroSDHC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B003NTQDUG/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1378868710&sr=8-6&keywords=psp+memory+stick+32+gb

I have 32gb on my psp with it (two cards at 16gb each).

As others have mentioned, this is not Nintendo. There're plenty of ways of backing up your data and retrieving it.

If you're a PS+ user, you may even choose to use the cloud service, and just back up your saves.

So much misinformation these days...

i would get the 32gb for 60 or less i guess after the anoucement of the 64gb

its good that i waited, and didint bite this "deal"

$75 for the 64GB would be nice...  Just can't get past the fact that a Sandisk Ultra 30 mb/s 64GB SD card, which fits so easily into the 3DS, is so much cheaper.  Oh well.
