People whining about having to do their job is annoying. Hence you no longer have a job and people buy most of their reading materials from the internet. Fuck off and go work at McDonald's now.

Best Buy managed to out-Gamestop Gamestop. Good show. :applause:

Wow that is an awesome deal for the Buy 3 get $25!

Get three PS4 games for $48 each (GCU) then $10 back on AC4 pre-order and then $25 back for all three. Essentially it will cost you $61 for three PS4 games!

Repetition in a game is NOT a bad thing, almost all games are repetitive. What matters is if YOU enjoy the game, then the repetition becomes enjoyable and doesn't feel monotonous or boring.

Faulty math is faulty.

You only get $25 not $25 for each game.

The exact wording in the ad is:

Purchase 3 of these PS4 titles this week to receive $25 in My Best Buy bonus points.

So you would be spending $144 at Best Buy to receive 3 games and $35 in credit if you have the Gamers Club membership.

Faulty math is faulty.

I hit the wrong letter on the keyboard when doing my math. But the deal is still amazing at BBY.

I never said you got $25 per game...

GCU 20% off makes each game $48. $10 back on Assassins Creed IV pre-order. $25 back when you buy three games.

$48x3=$144-$35=$109

So yes my math was off, but not because $25 each game, but because of human error when using a calculator. Either way my mistake.

No problem just wanted to clarify before someone got confused about it.  You still have more out of pocket cost at Best Buy then at Target though.  I've never been one to count the credit you receive towards the purchase price because that can lead to a situation where you are counting your credit twice.  That logic was rampant in the old K-Mart thread.

I still think Target is far better though because you don't have a limited selection of games to choose from in the promo.  Need for Speed Rivals and Lego Marvel aren't included in the Best Buy promo.  Plus with the 30% off coupon at Target depending on the way it is applied you could end up spending either $84 if the 30% is taken off of the grand total of $120 or $96 if it is only applied to two of the games since in the past Target handles B2G1 as $40 x 3.

The OP really does need to clean it up though so it is clear what games are part of the $25 credit promo:

Killzone Shadowfall

Battlefield 4

Assassins Creed Blackflag

Madden 25

NBA 2K14

Fifa 14

Knack

Injustice

I can understand when people count it twice, it's an easy mistake to make mentally. But I along with many people on CAG have a lot of BBY credit so I rather use credit then cash, but overall it's a very good deal.

Personally I am through trying to get best buy to honor their promo's, Batman was the last straw for me, I shouldnt have to call customer service everytime I pre order to get my promo's,  It has happened multiple times over the past two years, one of the reasons I didnt renew my GCU.  I'll bet doing buy 2 get 1 at target, flipped a few tablets there.

I believe there preorder bonus of 10 dollar certificate still open for ps4 version of

Assassin creed 4
Nba2k14
Battlefield 4

And I am gamer unlock member

48 dollars for each game x3 = 144 plus tax

And I am scheduled to receive back 30 dollars plus 25 bucks totaling 55 bucks in certificate?

Did I do my math correctly?

If you're talking about the GCU, it won't come into effect until the 15th I believe so those games will have been released already.

Wow that is an awesome deal for the Buy 3 get $25!

Get three PS4 games for $48 each (GCU) then $10 back on AC4 pre-order and then $25 back for all three. Essentially it will cost you $61 for three PS4 games!

This rivals the b2g1 + 30% coupon at target if all goes according to plan.

Two issues with this 'deal': need to be GCU (I'm not, never will be) and it's select titles only.  Versus Target that has no strings attached and you can get any games.  Just keep that in mind when comparing.

Also, ACIV is $5 back at Target if you pre-order.

My YMMV plan:

Pickup Killzone, AC IV, and Injustice for $120 after PMing Target, get $35 in reward certs (AC IV comes with $10 if preordered) and possibly 20% off of the $120 since I'm GCU.

I am definitely not expecting the GCU discount to stack with a PM, but it would be crazy if it did: $96 out of pocket (20% off of $120) -$35 in reward certs = $61 for 3 brand new games day 1. It's a pretty great deal even without the 20%.

I have successfully matched Target's Buy 2 Get 1 every time that I have tried at my local Best Buy. They technically aren't supposed to (hence the YMMV). And Reward Zone offers will go through regardless of a PM.
