I stopped by Costco today and noticed that they have both Pokemon X & Y for $34.99 each.

The price is only valid for Costco cardholders of course, but not a bad deal if you're a member and planned to buy one or both games! :)

Unfortunately for me, I found this out shortly after picking up my copies of the games at Gamestop but at least I got some free posters, haha.

I think that means the posters cost you $10+tax lol.

My Costco has only had the new Madden game and Disney Infinity the last few months.. It's disappointing because I used to be able to find great deals there quite often (especially on Nintendo titles). Here's hoping this is one of the select few they decide to carry.

my local costco stopped carrying video games about 6 months ago.
Yup, same here. I doubt we'll get any for the holidays; maybe some system bundles but it's highly unlikely.

The video game retail model wasn't really compatible with Costco's sales strategy to begin with. It makes no sense to dedicate wholesale floor space to a niche product with tiny profit margins when you could fill the same space with chips or Xmas decorations or something and sell way more with better margins. It was more of a service for members during the holidays that was easy to axe once game retail started to slide a few years back.
