Pokemon X/Y $27.99 FS deepdiscount.com

Yeah, what is wrong with deepdiscount? Was thinking of picking up one of these, but if there is any reason not to buy from them I'd like to know.

 
5-10 days shipping means it backordered for who knows how long because every deal site knows about this now.  When I ordered Witcher 2 in the past they charged right away and didn't mail it until a month and a half.  I cancelled the order on the website and they still sent the game to me.

 
Just logged in for shits and giggles -- that site is a mess. I apparently still have an order processing from 2010 (after multiple cancellation requests because I'd been waiting so long). Stay away.

I would check your bank/credit card records and see if they charged you on that order.

 
It's been years I rememberbuying a DVD set of a TV show as a gift from here and was told they received a clear bootleg with sticker label and cam quality recording. But with discounts this deep who can complain?

 
I've had nothing but positive experiences with them, but that's highly anecdotal. I totally get why people are so hesitant to order from them, and I've read more posts than I can count detailing them.

 
Maybe it's like the Digital River situation. I thought I'd give them a chance but holy rusted metal, Batman! Bait and switch and slow shipping and lies about the order process? Heck to the no! I'm not risking that again.

was thinking of price matching at  BEST BUY with print outs but now when they check the site they will see the 40 buck price. not worth the waste of gas

That site has been crap for the last few years. I do not mind the long shipping but they have a horrid history of screwing up orders. Personally I have had one shipment of movies been completely mixed up and got completely different things and another time they charged me but never shipped my things. I realize accidents happen and I do not want to screw anyone out of missing out on a deal but for my money I don't bother with them anymore, especially since it seems many others have felt my pain.

I would have gone for it as a Christmas present for my fiancee.  I already have the eshop version for myself.  So, even if it didn't get here for a month, that would have been okay.

uh, not for $43 though.  :)  Weird pricing.

It was $43 when I checked last night around 8PM PST so don't feel like you missed out. It was available for a very short time.

it depends what you buy.. if you buy overpriced crap they will ship it ASAP. If you buy one of the "sales" or a game they don't have in stock even though they say they do, you will be waiting months for them to ship it

and good luck contacting them to cancel.

Also just an FYI there probably won't be sales on this game anytime soon. I've verified with a few suppliers and nintendo isn't shipping them anymore stock for 1-2 months.
