Didnt see this posted on the first two pages, but it looks like Gamestop.com is having a Halloween sale on selected PC games.  Nothing stands out as too great except for the price on RE Revelations, but others may want somehting else.  Didnt really look into what activates on steam, or needs impulse so look before you leap

Link to sale here

Edit. I can confirm that after you purchase RE Revelations you will have to download impulse.  But once you have impulse you can view your product key and download the game from Steam rather than impulse

Fear Bundle is $7.50 (Steam) I don't use ES so I don't know the best price ever, but seems like a decent deal for all 3 games.

Yeah, I thought that was a pretty good deal too (although I may have seen the bundle around that price before, but I also dont use any price tracking service)

Also thought the Walking Dead at $6.24 and $1.24 for the DLC was pretty good if someone hasnt played it yet somehow. Theres a few other things that seemed decent but Revelations seemed to be the gem

This was cheaper a week or 2 or so ago on GameFly w/ a voucher code.

RE: Rev PC was $10 after a 20% off voucher code.

I think the code was GFDOCT20, IIRC?

Nice. Wish I got in on it then, but I'm not surprised I missed it, work has been pretty busy. Hopefully I'll actually have some time to play this

Anyone have thoughts on Gamestops digital storefront? I remember not that long ago (maybe a year or two) they had issues actually getting people their keys, and customer service was atrociously incompetent. Have things improved?

Also, do you just get a receipt/invoice email with the steam key, or is there some program I need to install before I get the key?

having to DL their shitty client for a steam key automatically makes it garbage imo

Kinda shitty that they make you wait a business day to see if your order will even go through.  They got a long ways to go if they want to compete with steam.

*EDIT*

GS canceled my order because of issues with the "financial institution" (paypal).

*sigh*

That sucks. My transaction was instant but my bank account is linked to my paypal, not sure if that matters though.

One thing i thought was weird was that the game didnt work with a wired 3rd party 360 controller for me (mad catz cod controller) that has always worked in other games for me

You can email their customer service and have the keys emailed to you. May take a few more hours, but you won't have to DL their Impulse Client.

I played part of the demo of this on 3DS. Man is a a great looking game for a 3DS game. I'll probably eventually double and even triple dip on this one between 3DS, Wii U, and PC.

It looks like the issue was that my ban from buying physical games on gamestop.com carried over to their DD site as well. All i had to do was use a gift card and a fake physical address and my purchase went through fine. I got Dark Souls for $7.49 (missed it on amazon/steam sales) and Walking Dead 400 days for $1.24
