AquaPazza PS3 Exclusive Fighting Game $30

Yeah, it's MSRP. It's still impressive that this is getting a disc release for the price that it is when AH3 didn't, but AP is still a pretty solid fighter (you probably won't recognize the characters unless you read a lot of porn novels, though). If anyone's interested, it's a "sorta-anime" fighter - it doesn't have crazy airdashes or instant teleports everywhere, instead focusing on a more SF-esque footsies game, but it still has a pretty lenient combo system. Also interesting is that every character has fundamentally different movement options - some have runs, others have dashes, some hop off the ground, and some have super jumps or double jumps. Manaka in particular has the floatiest moon-jump I've ever seen, and a triple jump to boot.

If you go online though, expect to see Chizuru and Tamaki all day.

Oh no, Aquapazza itself is wholesome, family-friendly fun. The characters, however, come from visual novels developed by Aquaplus/Leaf, almost all of which are 18+ (though many received all-ages ports to consoles later in their lives). If you're not familiar with the characters, don't be surprised - none of Leaf's games have received official localizations, and only a few even got unofficial translation patches, though some received anime adaptations. Frankly, the only characters I know I recognize from a Comic Party OVA I saw as a kid. ( ´∀`)

I watched Utawarerumono and some parts of Tears to Tiara. The actual visual novels were adult rated but the anime adaptions weren't.

Some of my favorite characters from those series are in this game so I will be getting it eventually. I really wanted a collector's edition though.

Be warned: In all my life of ordering from Amazon, this is the first time that a Prime order has been late. Not sure if its coincidence or if the person fulfilling the Aquapazza orders is unreliable. I ordered the 8th with 2 day shipping and FedEx is telling me it won't be here till the 13th.

Hopefully this game someday goes down to $15 or $10. I rarely spend $30 on a game.

I think I need some sleep. I swear I when I first saw this thread that it said "AubreyPlaza PS3 $30." I was thinking "That's one hell of a deal!"

The storms across the US are delaying maybe shipments. FedEx has been backed up since last week... can't really blame either party for the weather related issues.

It only snowed like 2-3 inches here northern IL but holy hell, it's a mess out there. Most streets aren't being cleared (plows aren't ready or something- snow came much earlier than it usually does) and given the really low temps, anything that's melted by salt turns back into ice.

 
I have $159.61 left from when I traded in my WiiU to estarland. They gave me $216 in trade in credit for my Basic 8GB White WiiU. I don't want this to end up being like what happened to Phantom Breaker's on the 360. Came out a budget title, low print run and all of a sudden jacked price on ebay. I need something a lil different, all I play on my 360 is Injustice. This will allow me to should my PS3 which has been collecting dust for the past few months.

 
Price for this seems to be all over the place, coulda sworn Newegg had it for below 20$ for a short bit with a gift card or something.

Either way, doesnt seem like my cup of tea. I love SF/Guilty Gear/BlazBlue/Persona Arena, but just couldnt force myself to like a game like Arcana Heart. Games like those just feel like mugen games to me or something.

 
I purchased a copy of this from Amazon several weeks ago. It was in my recommended list, and I was very happy to see a game that was coming out at an MSRP of $30. I took a chance on Anarchy Reigns for the same reason.

A good friend of mine adores anime-related titles and art styles, and fighting games are usually what we play together. I think this title will be a hit for when we hang out. Being favorably inclined to anime titles myself, I will also be able to get some use out of it on my own. The game arrived at least two weeks ago, but I've put in my "after Christmas" pile, so I haven't tried it yet.
