Isn't Namco Digital River? If so everyone please stay far away. It's not worth the pain and anguish and they don't deserve your business.

That's what I thought. I will just point to the recent Capcom store fiasco and how they sold a bundle with a free controller knowing they didn't have any and wouldn't be receiving any more. Sent an email offering to let people cancel, then refused to cancel orders or promised to and failed to. Said people could return it once they got the game and then once they shipped over a month later told people no returns. You're not special, your fate will be no different, just don't do it.

Digital River is more than enough to ruin any "deal" you think you might be getting.

I remember ordering a bunch of games through Square-Enix's shop a two holidays ago.

I literally got my items like a year later, some not even factory plastic wrapped, some were greatest hits cases, not as advertised.

Then there was the whole Ni No Kuni episode.

Screw these hustlers.

 
I need to throw my 2 cents at Digital River here.

I bit on the "free pac-man hat when you buy the pac-man game" a while ago. Over a week after ordering, an ancient looking box that was beat to shit arrived on my doorstep. This outer box wasn't just mailman-raged on, it was clearly recycled as it had all kinds of old tape and stickers. Not just old tape, but old tape that dried over years and then transformed into that weird dusty stick paper. It was far from square, and judging from the newest tape, the box that was mailed to me was more of a 9 sided mutant. Inside, the pacman game had slid under the inside flap of the ancient cardboard box and the plastic ps3 case was spiderweb smashed inside the cellophane seal. (Seal was not broken though, thank the gods) The free pac-man hat itself was also sealed in a bag, but I could barely see the hat through the dusty and cloudy plastic that sealed it. Do you know the smell of a new memory foam pillow fresh out of the package? It's a kind of sick chemical plastic smell that takes many days to air out. The entire pac-man box REEKED of vile smell (and the hat still smells like it). The hat has (or had) stuffing in it to keep its shape, but the hat I received had all the stuffing packed in the front nostril of pac-man. The stuffing almost felt like it had been waterlogged and then packed into a corner. When I put the hat on the nose bulge of stuffing weighed down the front and fell down over my face - I clearly couldn't drive with this thing on. It was the 2nd worse package I've ever received. Runner up only to a box full of mangy cat hair I got from a relative.

 
picked up the fighting chance bundle, now to pray to the digital river folks, please dont let me down!! (you havent yet...)

 
Anyone have suggestions on what to add to get free shipping?  I'm only interested in Dark Souls and Ni no Kuni.  If only they carried Demons Souls.
