I bought the digital bundle pack (xbox 360 version and xbox one version) for the same price at Walmart if anyone is in the process of converging to next gen.
 
Doesn't matter which platform you buy it for.  If you're in it for the multiplayer (which most people are), and you're not a sniper, then this game is crap.  Every single map is designed with snipers and campers in mind.  Seriously not trolling, I've played every CoD since CoD4 and this has the worst multiplayer ever.  I thought I hated Treyarch maps, but boy was I wrong.

How does that work exactly - is it two different codes or is it one code that is tied to your Xbox ID? Thanks!

It's just one code tied to your Xbox ID. From my understanding, once you do upgrade to next gen, you still have the game available on the 360 (so it's not like the trade up programs going on at gamestop,etc.)
