I'm looking for 3 or 4 other Montrealers with whom I could split International Express shipping fees (30$ for 1-4 copies, 33$ for 5 copies). Cheaper non-tracking shipping could be an option (13$ for 1-4 copies or 22$ for 5). Game is 50$, no sales tax.

I will put in the order myself and deliver your copy in person at a downtown metro station of your choice. Ideally we'd put in the order by the end of the year.

Please PM or reply for more details.

You keep telling yourself that. This was never confirmed
http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2013/10/09/drakengard-3-releasing-for-ps3-in-north-america-and-europe-next-year-check-out-the-announcement-trailer/

maybe you should read that an figure out what that means to you because to me that sounds like it will be coming to retail in North America. There is also the fact you have no reason to believe its from the website only, the website only talks about preordering exclusively. FACT CHECK next time please

Tell you what. Going to email squaresoft right this minute. We'll see what they say. In the meantime you might wanna cool down. I'm just trying to setup a group import like the good old days.

When I was checking around wondering why this thread was a thing, everything I saw suggested it was exclusive. For instance:

The only official word I saw was the store listing I linked. Certainly the preorder/exclusivity wording there is odd, but I've never heard of any game just having such a thing. Presuming it'll be elsewhere seems like a wishful assumption.

Got some bullshit email from Squaresoft: "at the moment we are unable to confirm if this title will be released in stores or exclusively online".

So, group import stands.

Honestly, looking at the wording on the exclusivity, I'd think the physical version is exclusive to whatever pre-orders they receive. I.e. they're printing a run that'll cover the pre-orders, and won't care about anything else. Much like the Ni No Kuni Wizards Edition...

Hey ichitaka, I already ordered 2 copies (max per customer) but send a PM to AxelFTW who was looking for a split-ship buddy!

And if you are, this'll probably be what changes your mind. Fackin' hell that looks like an awful game.
Interested on why you say this? Is it because of the graphics? All the companies games look terrible graphically, like they're always 5 years behind. Doesn't stop a single one from having a great story and fun gameplay. The only one with mediocre gameplay I would say was the first Drakengard.

I found the gameplay to be terrible on 1+2, but still enjoyed it. I'm weird.

Going to buy the CE in some form, although I don't have the money now for it.

I'm probably going to order a copy of this through a friend of mine in the US. One copy isn't good enough for free shipping, though; would anyone in Halifax like to get in on a second copy with me?

Drakengard 3 pre-orders are now being taken at EB Games.  It's not on the website yet, but you can do it at your local store.

Well it would still stand for the CE I'd assume. But seeing that the standard version is everywhere now it's almost pointless to get it. May as well wait for some price drops. Drakengard is polarizing and pretty distasteful, which made a great investment as a niche release. But if it's going to be everywhere it's going to drop in value. I overpaid for 1 @ $20, and got 2 @ $5. New prices, just saying.

Only problem I see is, it might still be a hard to find game come release day.

Have you guys seen the eBay prices for Drakengard 1/2 now?? They're way more valuable than they were a few years ago. I remember 2 going for like $15 new and now a used copy is like $60.
