bond 50 bluray set $99 on amazon

Unfortunately, this is the exact same price they offered it for in the Gold Box the Saturday after Thanksgiving last year. Still a good price, but a full year later and only adding a Blu that was discounted to $8 in virtually every store this BF keeps it from being great.
 
I've held out for over a year on this set, and since I didn't buy a tv this week gonna get this. It breaks down to like $5 per disc and that's a pretty good price on most blus. Lowest this would ever drop is to like $75
 
At this stage, $100 for everything is very not bad...you're talking 23 Bond flicks for less than $5 apiece in a nifty collector's set. But I am sure it will get cheaper in the years to come.

 
As a guy who hasn't seen many Bond films pre-Brosnan, it's hard to justify even at a big discount because I just don't know if I'll enjoy them.  But it's awfully tempting.

 
Anyone know how often this goes on sale? Like does anyone think this will it be on sale come Christmas? I spent so much on other things that I completely overlooked this and it wouldn't be smart if I bit on this right now... in a few weeks I can do

It doesn't go on sale much at all, at least not this much of a discount. If memory serves, it hasn't been today's price of $99.99 since last year's BF weekend before they added Skyfall to the package.

I just bought Skyfall for $8 from Best Buy.. was gonna buy the Casino Royale/Quantum of Solace combo but decided it'd be better to just get Bond 50 since those will be included but since its going on sale a lot, its almost guaranteed to be on sale around Christmas

I noticed the description on amazon says skyfall is included. I remember seeing one in real life last year and the package said there is a slot "reserved" for skyfall because it hadn't been released yet. Did they do a reprint with skyfall now included or is it a loose blu ray?

 
i got this last year for $89.99. granted it had no Skyfall but it has a slot for Skyfall. I just got that one for $7.99 so still cheaper overall for me in the long run which is good. Great set either way and was great for those of you who got it for the price in question

If you can help it, go back and watch Connery's variants. Dr No, From Russia With Love, You Only Live Twice...he definitely brought a charisma to the character. Roger Moore and George Lazenby were okay...Timothy Dalton was likable by my book...Pierce Brosnan did bring that old charm back to the Bond movies, and then Daniel Craig brought a modern-day take that I enjoyed.

For $100 for 23 movies, it's sorely tempting...I'll get it someday...
