I should know better than post MSRP on the deals page, but I have been waiting for this to appear on GameStop to preorder as Amazon has been sold out for well over a month. There is a limit of one per person and with this being limited to 15,000 copies total across all retailers, you may want to preorder now instead of trying to buy this on the secondary market later. Then again you can risk buying this through Namco and having Digital River process your order.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles Collector's Edition

  • Tales of Symphonia Chronicles PS3 Game
  • 5 Chibi Tales of Symphonia Chronicles Figurines
  • Tales of Symphonia Chronicles Multi-Disc music soundtrack
  • Tales of Symphonia Chronicles printed novel
  • Collector's Packaging featuring exclusive artwork by ufotable
  • Tales of Symphonia Chronicles Steelbook Case
  • Exclusive Tales of Symphonia Chronicles DLC Theme
  • Numbered and limited to 15,000 units

With Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, players will be able to experience the most celebrated Tales of game to date, Tales of Symphonia, again for the first time with crisp and colourful high definition graphics and additional content along with its 2008 sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Using characters designed by renowned Japanese artist Kosuke Fujishima, Tales of Symphonia unfolds with beautiful anime-style cel-shaded graphics that make the expansive 3D worlds feel like a 2D comic book. The storyline is an emotionally charged, epic adventure that redefines the role-playing genre.

  • The most renowned Tales of game comes back in HD
  • The possibility to play with the Japanese voiceover
  • The whole saga of Tales of Symphonia combined in one game
  • More than 90 hours of Gameplay in total
  • Addition of new fierce Bosses
  • Brand new 40 Artes scattered between playable characters and enemies

I wonder if 15,000 is really that rare of a production number for this. Symphonia is my favorite Tales game by far but I can't imagine it's that popular since people rarely mention it when the Tales series comes up.

This was reported about 2 months ago:  http://www.cheapassg...ore/?p=11135218  Glad you got in on one, but 15000 is a lot for an RPG LE.

Sorry, you are right and. I guess when you think about it that way, 15,000 is a lot for an RPG not named Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. Tales has its cult following but that is a higher production run as it is normally 5,000 or 10,000. It's just that I saw it sold out really fast on Amazon and you know the hoarders that will try to profit off of this and will deplete the supply.

Great points though and maybe we will see this drop.

I would rather have a new Tales game. Yes I know ToX2 is coming but there are more that have not made it stateside yet...

Thanks for the heads-up.  I'm going to wait and see if this shows up on Best Buy, or the very least, preorder it at a local Gamestop.  I don't like the shipping costs.
