$799 Asus Desktop w/ GTX 760 - Good Deal?

Bosamba

CAGiversary!
Currently Newegg is holding a 2 day only holiday sale and the one item that caught my eye is this computer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220444&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL122413&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL122413-_-EMC-122413-Index-_-DesktopPCs-_-83220444-L0C for $799.

I know that building your own computer is the best deal but I'm too intimidated for now to delve into that. My question is, for the price, is that computer a good deal? Some of the basic specs are that it comes with:

GTX 760 3GB

Intel Core i5 4440 (3.10 GHz)

Thanks for taking the time to read, all responses are welcome.

I bought a similar system a few years ago ( it was my first custom pre- built). It depends on what you want it for. I wanted to spend $700 to play games, and it just couldn't do it like i wanted it to. So, i just recently rebuilt the entire machine.

Aside from the GPU nothing in this system looks future proof. If you want to upgrade you will have to make big changes. Personally, i'd have one built from a site like CyberpowerPC, or someone that you trust.

That way, you can at least get a couple parts that will last you a very long time (like  a great motherboard, or Power supply).

Okay, thanks for your recommendations. I'll hold off and look around then.
