Do i need GTA at the price? Wouldn't have to pay any "real" money for it.  Some please advise! (Thanks in advance for any advice)

My only hesitation is I have AC4 s well, but I tend to move really slowly through the AC games. I'm also kinda hoping those free dlc's that were promised for GTA5 really bring the multiplayer to the next level. I'm probably gonna get the game though, thanks for the input!

I am waiting for AC4 to hit cheap before I get it. As for GTAV, $40 is nice...but $32 at Best Buy is even better if you can get it.

I can't confirm it but from what I understand the Anniversary Edition was supposed to be a limited edition print run for preorders. So my guess is that some stores may start selling the vanilla editions by now.

Tried to get two 16 gb cards but only one of the stores near me had any, and they only had one. I'm gonna reserve my 32 for digital downloads only.
 
Honestly, the Vita is a steal for $130. The ones in my store were all in mint to near mint condition when I got mine with a 25% off PUR coupon last month.

Ignore the fact that there are very few AAA game cartridges, spring for the $50 32gb card and a year of PS+ (total $215 this week) and you're good to go.

Most of the good content for Vita is DLC anyway, so the bigger cards are necessary even if overpriced. Then next time GS does a B2g1F sale, go get yourself a few better games that aren't already free on PS+.

In the long run it's cheaper than trying to buy good 3DS (read Nintendo) games... I learned the hard way this Christmas by getting my son the Target $150 Zelda 3DS bundle with additional 5 Nintendo published games. Ouch, even with used B2G1F and BF price matching they averaged about $22/each.

Anyway, now we have both handhelds, so we'll see which gets more adult vs. kid usage, I'm pretty sure it will go exactly as expected... Though I'm personally itching to play some Nintendo games after a very long hiatus, it will be extremely hard to peel Pokemon away from the 8yo for any extent of time.

Just picked up GT6 at my store and it was the anniversary edition!

 
Man I hate gamestop.

I went to one store today (firsttime in one in probably 10 years) the line was to the back wall, asked a guy who works there that was walking around where the new vita memory cards were (since they only had used ones displayed)

And hes like oh heres the used ones. Told him the new ones were on sale cheaper and hes like oh yeah im pretty sure we have them somewhere. Then just walks away

Maybe my next experience will be better next time I go there in 2023 

 
On a side note, I just saw that Amazon has the 16gb vita memory card for 19.99 again

Is a 16gb + 8gb going to be enough for a vita ? 

Or am I going to want a 3rd 8/16 ?

I bought a 32gb under the impression that it will last me a lifetime. It is now filled completely just from ps+ releases. :wall:

 
these are the NEW prices only, are the USED versions of GTA V and BF 4 lower than $40? If so I might buy GTA 5 with the bday coupon

I just ordered an extra 16gb on amazon, under a prepaid credit card that only has a 1$ on it.

I figure when it comes back in stock theyll try to bill me,and ill have 3 days to decide if i need it.

Now im just hoping it doesnt come back in stock for a few months lol

 
Ugh. Went to my local Gamestop to finally get a 32gb card and of course they only had one and it sold right when they opened. Hate when they do great sales but don't have any stock to let more then 1-2 people per store get one. The waiting game continues...

gamestop near me was out of 32gb but plenty of 16gb, I was insistent on a 32gb as I already own a 16gb  so I had them call a close by store to hold one for me. Got my 32gb and my 16gb, I don't own a single cartridge and see no need to as I am a PS+ member through 2016 so I get so many good deals and free games for my vita, hoping for LBP for the next round of free ICU yearly games.

 
I missed the GameStop 32 vita card so I got a 16 from amazon for 20 instead. Now I have 2 16s and an unopened 8 gb. Should I just return the 8 to amazon? It was only 10 bucks.
 
Hey can a fellow cag, show me how to transfer my old card to my new one? I downloaded the ps vita download manger to my windows 8 but it ain't piping up, it's only showing the vita on my PC, but nothing about backing up. :( thanks in advance

You back up from the Vita itself. Plug your Vita into your computer, open Content Manager Assistant on your Vita, choose PC -> USB Cable, scroll down to Backup, choose Backup, follow the on screen directions. When it's done, turn off your Vita, take out the old memory card, pop in the new one, and repeat the earlier steps to connect to Content Manager except this time choose Restore.

Thank you , I tried it, but kept getting an error message, so since the vita is only 2 days old, I just decided to instal the new 32g card & download everything again from psn+. Thank you for the help, totally apreciate it! U rock
