Hey - I am either looking to sell, or advice on how to sell a MacBook Pro. Here are the specs:
15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display - IN ORIGINAL BOX/NEVER OPENED
2.7 Ghz Quad-core Intel Core i&, Turbo Boost Up to 3.7 Ghz
16 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3L SDRAM
512GB Flash Storage
AppleCare
... it is basically one of the top models as of August 2013
Price Paid: $3,148
Looking for: ~$2,500
Reason for sale: I finished up a PhD and had extra fellowship funds so I purchased the computer, but no longer need it because I am working at a PC centric company. So I never even opened it when I bought it in July/August.
Need Advice: I have never used Craigslist and am not comfortable dealing with such an expensive computer for my first experience. Seems like something that could go bad. As far as Ebay, I would think it would be difficult to sell without having any reputation. So actually, I turned here to CAG because I have some rep from trading games. So I'd easily sell it through here maybe, or does anyone have advice on another way to get this sold?
I know that it isn't necessarily a bangin gaming rig, but for graphic design and other media work, it would be great.
Thanks for any help.
