Digital Devil Saga - $17.40 , Digital Devil Saga 2 - $16.77 at Amazon.

These are good deals to get since the games (including Nocturne) got re-published as of late. Unfortunately, it deflated the value on the original copies of the games, but hey...better to spend $30 on one of these rare gems than a lot more, eh?

Amazing games! So glad I got them years ago when I actually had time to play 30-50 hour RPGs lol. At this price they are a steal!

One thing that I've noticed recently and especially after Sega bought Atlus, is that Atlus games have been on sale more frequently and at higher print runs. Which if you ask me is awesome as more people get to play these games and at a cheaper price. :)

There is still some value in the older prints that came with OST's though the reprints hurt the value of the games themselves a lot :(

Excellent games. Good price to get these complete since you can get the discs for about $5 from Gamestop's PS2 sale if you can find them.

If they bother "republishing" these on PS2 years later, I wonder if they would do a HD remaster or collection in the future?

I know a republish probably costs them nothing, but a PS3 (or better yet, PS4) compilation probably wouldn't cost them all that much either.

A physical copy is not likely, but would love to see more publishers get the ball rolling on digital HD versions of past games... even niche games.

I think there was something about the engine not working properly in the PS2 classics emulation for the reason the games aren't out for PS3 yet. Besides, Atlus is focused heavily on the Persona series right now. It might be a while before another non Persona game comes out or they bother porting the older games.

Nearly bought a couple of these used at a local Gamestop through their clearance but the discs were badly scratched. Much rather pick them up new, thanks OP.

These are all great games. Worth the price of entry, even at previously inflated values. (Could always sell them when finished - that's what I did with Panzer Dragoon Saga.)

I can't even remember why I originally bought Nocturne - I wasn't into niche RPGs.. pretty much missed every RPG this side of the Commodore 64 not named Final Fantasy, but just found the artwork intriguing, I guess. And when I loaded up DDS, got totally swept away in the world.

Best reasons to keep a PS2 around - or get a backwards compatible PS3.

Thanks OP!  I picked up another copy of DDS 2 since I had a disc only version from Gamestop from a couple of years back.

New copies have been $20 for a while. Atlus reprinted a bunch of the ps2 SMT games. I was able top grab a new copy of Devil Summoner 1
