Every few days, they add and subtract a few $5 (or less) titles. Right now, it stands as:

and the perennials, like Day After Tomorrow, Master and Commander, Dances with Wolves, and Raging Bull (at $4.49)

Anybody think they will mach BestBuy on Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and Skyfall and Promethus. BestBuy website says sold out on all those.

Not a chance in hell. BB.com sold out of Juno, and now it's back up to full price on Amazon.

I noticed Amazon is getting less aggressive in their price matching. They're matching fewer, taking longer to do it, and shutting it down as soon as the competitor is out of stock.

Boy, this must be the worst looking Blu-Ray I ever saw. I bet you buy a Blu-Ray like this, you get a free bowl of soup, huh?

The mention of Prometheus in the thread had me stop by Best Buy to find one last blu-ray for $4.99 a shelf away from the cleaned out Prometheus section proper. Thanks op and subsequent poster.
 
A lot of these movies that are sold out at bestbuy.com can still be found in-store. Not available for in-store pickup does not mean they do not have it in the store. I think there must be a certain amount of stock on hand for them to offer it as an online pickup to prevent someone from ordering a movie online only to have a shopper walking around the store with it in their hand.

There is a $5.00 blu ray display located away from the normal movie section. It's a big rectangle, with one side devoted to DVD, the other has the $5.00 blu rays, as do the end caps. The one at my local BB has it located near the registers, not far from the main entrance.
