not a bad way to go digital without having to download many gigabytes of data (data cap worries, speeds, etc.).  You rent from Redbox, install the game, buy the digital license...

Wondering why Infamous 1/2 won't be available until March 2014...

And, is Dark Souls II really rated Teen? Not as "dark" as it's predecessor? I hope that isn't the case.

I've never, ever seen any xb1 or ps4 or even Wii U games at my redbox locations. I'm near Hartford, CT so biggest in terms of population in my small state. Still holding out for a next gen port of dark souls outside of PC, if not then I'll just grab it cheap down the road. Was definitely my GOTY when it came out, but I'm trying to focus most of my gaming efforts on the X1/Wii U and 3DS.

I think Gamefly would be the better way to go, Redbox charges per day if I'm not mistaken where as Gamefly is on a monthly basis.

Redbox will end up costing a lot more if you really like a certain game and keep it for awhile.

I haven't rented any games lately at Redbox...  The last game was Diablo 3 for the 360.  But you do get pretty much a 2 day rental for the price of 1 day.  If you rent in the morning, that is (because you have to return by 9PM of the next day)...  Like if you rent Saturday morning, you get all of Saturday and almost all of Sunday.

There's never anything new to rent at any of the 14 local redbox machines in my town. Some scammers have figured out how to use temp credit cards to rent the games and then sell them on craigslist for like $30. The local police seem to be trying to track them down after almost a year of the nonsense.

Gamefly has done a great job keeping most next gen titles in stock would rec them for trying next gen games

the problems I have with Gamefly is they're not cheap, you have to wait awhile (the game has to get old) before you can really get the game, and if you get the cheaper subscriptions, you only get 1 game at a time...

never liked gamefly, but sub recently cause of next gen. ive got everything i wanted right away (on xbox one) and its $16 a month... not bad, not great.

You only have to wait if you don't know how the system works. If you remove everything in queue and just have the new game in your queue a couple days before it releases you will get it shipped as soon as it is available. They even ship newly released games on Mondays so you can have it on release day or the day after. As for price there is a cag who sells 1 month 2 games out at a time certificates for $12.

i have yet seen many next gen games not in stock plus i get a game in like two days after it ships which is not bad. Plus all the great used game sales they have is great with 10 percent off plus reward coupons and free shipping.

I found a guy selling AC3 with a red box box. I called police told them about it. Didnt care at all. wasted their time I guess?

Is there a way to find out which Redbox locations have Xbox One games besides just driving all over the state?

There's a great Redbox app that lets you see where movies and games are located and even lets you reserve them. But I just checked and they don't show that they have any Xbox One or PS4 games at all.

EDIT: just saw the OP and it says right in that graphic that Xbox One games aren't searchable online. Don't know why that would be but I guess there is no way.
