Need something that will let me wirelessly transmit my tv audio to regular wired headphones so I can lay my head down while watching tv (due to ear buds instead of any other type of headphone). Does anyone make that? Need it badly!

 
dunno if they still make them, astro gaming's wireless mixamp.

edit: doesn't look like they are making the stand alone unit anymore, all wireless receiver are builtin the headset.  you can try to find mixamp 5.8

Thanks. That's a bit too expensive for me. I read that you can use a fm transmitter designed for audio devices to do the same thing. Can anyone recommend one of those and what I should use to receive that transmitted audio?

We got my grandpa one for Christmas one year because he was notorious for playing the TV at what seemed like full volume at any time of day or not. I don't remember the brand, but it was PROBABLY from Radio Shack. They got all kinds of shit like that.

If I had any clue what happened to it, I would just send it to you.
