This is pretty worthless if their website cannot process payments directly or through paypal, but do appreciate you sharing the code.

I really want to bite but I can never bring myself to paid subscription games. I simply don't have the time in the first place to play games lately with my commute, masters and work and so paying monthly for a game I may not even play much that month...

I really want it thoughhhh

Just so people know this expires tomorrow so if there is any leftover interest now would be a good time to grab it.  I don't believe there will be another beta in March so this is probably the last time it will be on sale unless they don't meet their expected pre-order quota.

My opinion of the beta below (for what it is worth):

I rather enjoyed the game when I played it.  Excellent exploration with fun side missions in between main mission storylines.  I played as a dual wielding, Wood Elf Nightblade with a bow as my secondry skill.  I enjoyed battles and the skills I unlocked as I levelled were good also.  Skills going up is similar to Skyrim; you use it, you get better at it.  The voice acting is quite good and they were able to sync up the audio to the mouth movements as far as I could tell, even the side missions.  I also enjoyed the dialogue with the NPCs, Khajiit were especially entertaining, and I was more interested in watching the voice cutscenes in this game than GW2.  Combat isn't quite like it is in Skyrim, you can't visibly stagger enemies with power attacks (or at least I couldn't at level 5), and the contact of weapons isn't there.  However, they nailed first person view as far as I am concerned and I was very pleased mid-combat with the AI.  When I was melee they would spread out and get behind me to attack and when I would range attack they would close distance quickly. Overall I did end up pre-ordering at the $48 level and I hope to spend the 30 days that I get playing and seeing if I feel like I'm grinding more than getting caught up in the story.  What drove me crazy in SWTOR was the amount of downtime there was between story mission.  I play Bioware games for the story: plain and simple.  So those are my impressions of the game as far as I played.  I have no alliance mission experience or PvP experience because I played this like I played Skyrim: singleplayer.

Their website does process payments through Paypal. Hubby and I preordered the ESO Standard Edition a week or so ago.
Well, curiously, it did not take my attempts at a paypal transaction and likewise errored out using my credit cards. As it would turn out though, checking my credit card statement, they still managed to charge me twice and give me nothing. I'm glad it worked out well for you and your hubby, but after experiencing this and seeing the chronic payment issues with GMG using a quick google search, it's clear GMG has issues. Best of luck if you attempt to make a purchase.

There will be another beta. In the invites they sent out, they said your character from the last test was carried over, and will also carry over to the next test.
