This is pretty cool, never watched anything on Twitch. All those people fighting for control for one character...

Been thinking about playing Leaf Green to compliment my copy of Heart Gold. Maybe have some spiritual successors to my copy of Pokemon Blue. 

I know I can never transfer my GB versions of Pokemon, maybe I can make GBA equivalents somehow.  It will take awhile before I can see my level 99 Blastoise once again.

People are entering input faster than the game can accept it. You got thousands of people entering the same command and this is what happen. There are a few people trolling but it is amazing that they managed to trade for a farfetch'd and teach it cut.

I wouldn't call them idiots. There is at least a 20 second delay and thousands of people typing at the same time. It's pretty much random, I'm surprised they have accoplished anything.

 
Pretty surprising that they got to the 4th badge though. Are they going to finish the whole game or is it just a timed event? I kinda want to watch them try to get through victory road lolol

This is crazy. What an inspired idea. It makes me wonder if there is any game that could actually be coherently controlled by 40,000 people simultaneously, or if one could be designed.

 
Lol at people typing start randomly. I hope the people that actually want the menu for any reason knows whatever they want to do isn't going to happen.

Watching them only makes me want to play it the way it's meant to be played.

Interesting experiment though. Will be surprised if they defeat the Elite Four and Champ.
 
Apparently, bots have been manipulating the thing since the Anarchy/Democracy voting system was set up (however, I don't know how much influence they had). Still neat that they managed to beat the game, though!

 
I wonder how many Pokemon players will have their team consist of Pidgeot, Zapdos, Venomoth, Nidoking, Lapras and Omastar (Our Lord and Savior - he who rose from the fabled Helix Fossil) now? People imitate everything

Slightly disappointed they used democracy for victory road, but I guess it would have been impossible in anarchy haha. Looks like its moving on to gold/silver/crystal next
