Looking for some feedback on Xbox One headsets.  I currently have a pair of Turtle Beach X12's for my 360, but I don't think there is any way for me to use them with my Xbox One since I don't have an audio out port on my HDTV.  (please correct me if I'm wrong and there is a way to hook them up!)

Is there an audio quality difference between the Turtle Beach XO Seven and the XO Four?  Do they both come with the recently announced Xbox Chat adapter or do you have buy that separately?

I know the Xbox One Stereo headset from Microsoft comes with the chat adapter, but I'm not sure about it's quality.

TL:DR - Best Xbox One headset recommendation?

Thanks!

The turtle beach xo seven and four are not out yet. So no one knows if they come with an adapter or the new plus is built into it. Or if there fully wireless for chat. Since there website is vague about it.

Microsoft has an adapter that is coming out this Tuesday that is 25/30 bucks (way overpriced). That allows you to connect a 3.5/2.5 headset adapter into it for chat.

Just to clarify as I have been looking now also.

All the 3rd party sets come with the $25 Adapter.  Turtle Beach and Polk

Micrsoft also has their first party headphones for $80 (the cheapest of them all).  I'm leaning towards getting those, but the POLK's seems really nice.  My concern is how long the cables are for the MS ones.  I generally like 1st party accessories, but we'll see how the headphones are.

Thanks for the replies.  I too noticed the Turtle Beach XO Four/XO Seven and the Polk 4 Shot headsets come with the adapter, so that's nice.  I haven't come across any reviews for any of these headphones yet but that should change since these headsets are releasing in the next few days.

I am currently leaning towards getting the Polk 4 Shot but that could change depending upon reviews.  It doesn't appear Best Buy carries the Polk set which is disappointing because they are running a 15% off accessories promo when you buy a new game.

I pre-ordered the MS headset for $67 with that deal. I just ordered DJ Hero for $2 and I just won't pick it up. haha. I really wanted the POLK's, but not sure I could justify double the cost.

My concern is the quality of the headphones. I suppose I can always return if it's crap. I want something with a removable cable and something that is long enough to reach my receiver. Although, both can be fixed with a headphone extension cable if necessary.

Generally 1st party accessories are decent quality, although the current chat headset is cheap. MS controllers are nice though, so who knows?!
