Ryse: Son of Rome Used $37.99 @ Gamestop

Shots fired by Gamestop? lol.

It really is a surprise hit for me. Everyone trashed the game (critically) but to me it was the best looking game out so far this gen for one. It is also a lot of fun, think of it as a bit weaker batman free flow combat, and throw in the online arena/gladiator mode where you beat guys together with your friend. It's a perfectly fine beat em up and my third favorite launch game behind DR3 and KI. I would put it out of my top 3 now though thanks to Peggle 2.

Obviously if you don't care for the online portions I'd still say I would wait for either a bigger price drop or if possible a rental since it can be beat in 6ish hours.

Can you use birthday coupons online? I modified my post since I'm not sure if you can and realized this says "online only".

Hmm If you can use the Birthday coupon and want to move credit and want to play this game, you can trade it into Best Buy for $30 or 31.50 for GCU

When the website lists it as "online only price," it's not always accurate. One way to check is to click on the in-store pickup option and see what the price comes up as.

For example, Aliens: Colonial Marines is listed as an "online only price" for $6 but it still rings up for $6 in-store.

So you may be able to use the coupon in-store.

I don't remember if digital console games have ever been discounted further than their retail counterparts before. This may become a trend. Metal Gear Ground Zeroes is doing something similar. How this plays out will be significant to Gamestop's business and even the next iteration of next gen systems.
