New laptop or desktop deals?

So i gotta ditch my windows XP computer in the family room. I'm trying to decide if I should just get a new computer since the one we currently have is a basic computer anyone nothing special. A windows 7 install cost around $70-$90ish so it might be worth it to just get a new computer with windows 7 or 8 preinstalled.

Any suggestion on a new basic laptop/computer under $400? It will just be used for basic internet surfing.

You should watch tomorrow's Best Buy ad. You may be able to trade in your XP computer for $100 (or more) off a new one.

From my experince they usually do this promo on select products that are more expensive than other retailers. They raise the price and then give you the discount.

So do your homework.
