Free Steam key of Zombies on a Plane

Certainly a misleading title from what the video looks like... Figured it would be more like a Snake on a Plane deal but with zombies...

Thanks OP for the chance.  This intriigued me in a recent indie bundle, but didn't pull the trigger.  Hopefully this one comes through.  Not holding my breath though.  How long did it take you to get your key?  The website says you will get one once it is greenlit.  Do we have to wait until such time?  The OP Title should be changed.

Well it would be kind of hard to give a Steam key for a game that hasn't been allowed into Steam yet...

In my experience these 'buying votes' scenarios work pretty well and do manage to get the games into Greenlight but of course it may take some time for Valve to do their regular approval lists and then for the developers to get the games up on Steam and get the keys distributed etc.

The actual chances of this game getting in between this promotion and the earlier bundle at this point is pretty darned near 100%. It's just not going to be an instantaneous process.

My expectation was that the key would be distributed after it was greenlit. However, the title wording and one of the replies indicated that maybe it was a free key after this was done (almost immediately emailed to you). Just wanted someone else to confirm that the key was after greenlit (as the website indicated) and not immediate disbursement. In either case, I'm not in a hurry to get it, I just wanted people to know that the OP may need to look like this: "Free Steam key (after greenlit) for Zombies on a Plane"

You can ask Carlmundo since he is the admin of that Who's Gaming Now Steam group and organizer of these promotions but the past similar scenarios have all been Steam key to be given after the game is Greenlit (and the dev is able to add it to Steam, generate the keys etc).

Agreed the thread title could clarify a little better that it's not an immediate thing though.

Ugh, I hate seeing devs resort to buying votes to get through Greenlight. As someone who has had two games get through Greenlight under vastly different circumstances - I can safely say that bribery is a tactic I will never utilize.

A game about zombies on a plane titled Zombies on a Plane. Very misleading title.
Snakes on a plane had 0 snakes on the outside of the plane.

We all know (and you do to) that on can in certain instances be taken as inside of something. Leave sarcasm to the pro's,
